White Tower Restaurant

Best pizza in town hands down! I've lived in Campbell River for 22 years and I've tried any and all pizza in Town. White Tower Pizza is the clear winner! It's also our favourite place to dine out. We love the atmosphere and decore and it's the kind of place where the waitress knows you. The food is absolutely consistent and extremely well priced. Don't tell them, but their prices are too cheap. Please do yourself a favour and go to White Tower. Oh and by the way, I don't know anybody there and I didn't get paid to make this post. We had an amazing birthday dinner here tonight. Still the best calamari in town and love their Greek salad. Always so fresh! Others at the table had different things and everyone enjoyed their meal. Our server was great! Food came out quickly. Hasn’t changed much appearance wise in years but it has its charm. Always enjoy a White Tower dinner!

We went for a meal on a Thursday. We ordered mushroom caps to start, then beef/chicken souvlaki and lasagna. The meal was served with buttered toast. I don't know how, but everything was so bad. The lasagna tasted like tomato noodles from a tin - no seasoning, no meat, no white sauce. The chicken souvlaki was bland and VERY dry. The beef souvlaki was good, but the accompanying salad was at least a day old and the rice was bland. The bread for the table was toasted with unsalted butter and not worth even eating. Food service was slow considering there were only 3 tables and two waitresses. The lasagna was recommended to me over the ravioli by the waitress. I do not recommend going here

Was here last year for a relatives birthday, service was terrible, but the food was great once we finally got it. Decided to give it another go this year and had the exact same experience. Waitress checked on the table maybe once in the 2 hours we were there. Had an empty drink for an hour and half before she even asked if I would like another. We got the same excuse that they were down 3 people.. which was the exact same excuse as last year so I find that hard to believe. I understand that with a bigger table it can take longer to get your food, but the waitress not even checking up on us for over an hour was completely unacceptable. Food was great once we finally got it, but I would never recommend this restaurant strictly for the lack of service.

Order pickup told me a half hour to pick up got there ten minutes late to be told the calamari was just going to in to fryer. Waited for another 15 minutes. Then got it hot to find out it was over done. Used to dine in but the old waitress is too grouchy and the young one has a bad attitude to. As she told me to sit any where with my family then complained about me picking a big table. Not to mention long waits for food when there nobody even in there.

BEST PIZZA EVER!!! and I live in Vancouver so there’s tons of choices. I get meat lovers extra sauce. Staff are amazing.
I grew up in CR so I’ve been going to white tower since 1975. Do yourself a favor, pay the extra money and get your pizza here!
Old school classic decor so if that’s not your thing, do take out!
