Our food and juices were delicious. It takes a bit of time for your meal to be made, so don't go if you're in a hurry. IMO It was well worth the wait! I highly recommend these healthy, tasty choices

Got lunch here with a friend. We ordered the same thing but mine was in a wrap. Both meals cost the same yet I had 1/3 of the food as my friend did. Good food, very tasty and fulfilling, just a puny amount. Also quite understaffed and minimal drink options.

Overpriced and not that great...I remember when this place first opened in town, it used to have a great atmosphere. Now I realize it's the same owners as the burger place next door and unfortunately their quality has gone way down hill.We ordered 2 smoothies the other day and they're about $9 each which is a complete rip off if you ask me...The chocolate one was nice but the orange one was full of CHUNKS which is the opposite of what a SMOOTHIE should be. Could make a better one at home for a fraction of the price! For what they are charging you'd think they'd invest in a good quality blender so they can actually do it right! Also, no music playing inside the place which gives it a weird vibe....

Roots is my favourite place to eat!! The staff are sooo sweet, environment is clean, and the food is phenomenal? my favourite bowl is the “southern bowl” you need to try the “go green smoothie” so refreshing for one of these hot summer days.Parking: Always a parking spot nearby too!

Decided on a whim to check this place out for food. I got the soup of the day which was Tomato and a spicy chicken panini. The food looks homemade and simple, however the taste is exemplary. Super flavourful panini and I highly recommend it. Very good and you don’t feel terrible after eating here as it’s health conscious. The tomato soup was above average but not out of this world, for 4 bucks though well worth it.Great spot for a quick healthy bite.Vegetarian options: They have a large selection of vegetarian options.Parking: Big plaza anchored by a No Frills so plenty of room.

Big portions, great price! We came here after Shambhala as well, and to see if his food to give us life would be an understatement. They were out of sweet potatoes but subbed chicken for no extra charge! The BBQ tempeh bowl was my fave! The staff was so sweet too!! So happy we stopped.

I partied for five days straight with a bunch of wooks and then had a healthy tofu bowl here. It cured me of my newly acquired brain damage and now I feel like John wick. Thanks roots modern health food!

Service was slow, for 1 bowl it to far to long. Asked to switch the tofu for falafel and got up charged $4 then had no avacado added because they ran out. $18 for 1 bowl... ridiculous. Won't be back. Also over heard other customers not happy.

I'm not usually big on leaving reviews but for a place I used to love, I was so disappointed with my experience. The staff were friendly and professional but that's were the positives end... The baseline price for wraps is $10 before adding a 4$ protein which was barely noticeable on the wrap... for what I paid there were hardly any veggies (three bites of tomato - no joke) and it was LOADED with rice - which wasn't even part of the description. I felt like I was eating a 2 cups of rice wrapped in a tortilla... not the refreshing meal I was hoping for and it was also served really hot which wasn't in the description either. The service was really slow even though there as only one other customer and the last thing I'll mention is that after paying over $16 for only the wrap I asked for a cup of water (8 months prego over here) and the staff said no and preceded to give me a half hearted explanation about how the government doesn't allow them to serves cups of water anymore... the overall vibe I got was greedy if I'm being honest and for that I'd give this place -5 starts if I could!

I’ve been to this restaurant once before, a few years ago, and it was great. Unfortunately not this time. Expensive, slow service (restaurant empty) food was stale and my bread was moldy. :( Definitely great potential though!

Very disappointed, my wife and I waited for 40 minutes for 2 paninis and a frozen smoothie. There were customers in before us very frustrated and we should have clued in but we took the chance. This was one of our favourite places for lunch and unfortunately after reading other posters reviews it gone down hill with new management. No plans on returning. Try somewhere else.
