Travelling through Castlegar for a few days and was very happy to find a restaurant that has healthy as well as tasty food options. It was also nice to know that the there are new owners getting into the restaurant business. I wish them success and prefer to give my business to locals vs American franchises.
Roots Modern offers an exceptional dining experience. The food is beautifully presented and bursting with flavor, with each dish crafted to perfection. The ambiance strikes a perfect balance between cozy and stylish, making it ideal for any occasion. The staff is attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, enhancing the overall experience. While the prices are cheap , the quality of food and service make it worth every penny. A must-visit spot for food lovers!
We had several of the smoothies (all smoothies here were vegan and made with almond milk) and the vegetable samosas -- these are vegan if the butter is not added at the end, so they made some new ones for us.
