The Bombi Restaurant

Some people like to push their food around their plate. Don’t try this at Bombi - the portions are huge, right to the rim of the farmer-sized plates. Everything we had was next-level delicious.

Service was prompt and super friendly - I’ve never had food this good arrive this quick.

We loved the atmosphere because it was small-town-family-diner-nothing-fancy-to-see-here.

Castlegar has a gem of of a restaurant here! Quality breakfast and lunch items, large portions and fair pricing. Was so impressed by the level of service we received. Will definitely return on our next visit.

Well the bombi. Wife and I were passing through and I always like to look for places like this rather than the chains that serve the same garbage across the country. Food was everything you'd expect. Diner with care level but not mind blowing. One of the best Americanos I've had though to be honest.

I could not leave Castlegar without sending a huge shout out to the Breakfast staff at Bombi. We were in town for a conference and we slammed them each morning. Its a small town eatery BUT that being said they are incredibly thoughtful from the service to the food and to sending you on your way.... Ray and Larissa in the kitchen: PHENOMINAL. The quality of the food and the way its thoughtfully prepared. Everything was simply delicious. I had the Castlegar on my first morning and that was delish BUT on day 2 I had the Scramble with Bacon, Tomato and Green onion with a side of Hollandaise! TO DIE FOR! Our table of 6 LOVED this please. I wish I knew more staff members names.... We will miss you all! Keep up the amazing work!

I recently visited Bombi restaurant on August 30 and had a great overall experience.
Food:
The food was great and satisfying. Portion sizes were generous for the price.
The staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, the service was excellent.
The ambiance was traditional. Cleanliness was excellent .
Prices were affordable , and I felt the meal was worth it given the quality and portion sizes.
Overall, i will definitely be back to try their other meal.

Absolutely amazing! I'm celiac and they had so many gluten free options, and the staff were very knowledgeable! Food was great too. Will definitely be back next time I'm in town!
