One of the best choices of wineries in the area! we visited for a girls trip and stopped by a number of wineries, but Vanessa Vineyard had the most friendly staff and warm ambience. Saira the tasting manager took excellent care of us and recommended the most delicious wines I have ever tried. I was able to get a tasty, yet affordable Rosé for my family back at home and they absolutely loved it! Will definitely be stopping at Vanessa’s on my next trip out.
Such great wines, and amazing customer service at this hidden gem. If you love good quality red wine don't just drive past, do yourself a favor and stop here. The price point is slightly higher on the wines, but the quality is unmatched in the area!
Best of all time
Had a wonderful tasting at Vanessa with Stacey, very knowledgeable and made the experience very fun. Highly recommend the wine!!
Wow - it tastes like Napa Valley wine!! Best reds in the entire region. They come at a steeper price-point than most starting at $43.99 for the Merlot & Syrah but worth every penny in my opinion and the value is there. Gorgeous venue.
Had a great experience at the winery with friends. The wines are spectacular and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable, letting you explore at your own pace and level. Can’t wait to open the Large format CO-FERMENT! Howard and Wendy Soon are awesome ambassadors for the brand and the Okanagan-Similkameen wine industry!
Incredible wines!
Very nice place, we arrived at 10:15 ?a little early but we are on vacation. The staff is super nice and describes their product well…
No choice but to leave with great finds, Merlot/Syrah very well done!
Our first winery stop on the way up from Vancouver to Osoyoos. We came last year and got good wine as well. $10 tasting waived with purchase of 1 bottle. Wines in the tasting range from about $31 (white, rosé) -$48 (reds). High quality wine, it’s really hard to choose. Our friends ended up joining the wine club as there were recent openings, and they bought some library wines right then and there. We loved the Merlot (not sure the year) and 2018 Right Bank was insanely good. We ended up with 2 of the 2018 Right Bank. The V Series white is also very good. Wines are not cheap but they are very high quality. Welcoming atmosphere and tasting. Visited June 15 2023 and our host was awesome, wish I got her name. A must visit.
2nd time back to this gem in Cawston. If you're eve in the area, probably one of the best in the area!Beautiful tasting room with minimalistic décor with the exception of the gold bottle walls. The first we had was lovely as the hostess really did take her time to go through the wines with us and even went to pour a few vintages that was opened for staff to taste. With that, we left with a case of the delicious 2013-2014 vintage Meritage. Note this trip was back in 2018. I just opened the 2014 this past Christmas for dinner and it was divine. The second from August 2022 and the winery finally brought in some whites, although not their grapes but sourced from the area. Will be back if I ever find myself in the area again.
Restaurantji Recommends
back home after 12k km on my jeep trip and on sunday 9th was my favourite day. thank you mr. Tim (i think ) for the "dégustation" ?. i bring back the 2021 v series and the 2012 syrah.
Definitely a more expensive winery but their wines are delicious, we really enjoyed their whites just as much as their whites... And bought two to offset their $10 tasting fees, but feel they're too expensive for buying anything else
Had a nice tasting and bought some decent wine. Good experience worth a go.
Beautiful tasting room some nice bolder reds as well.
Without question some of the best wines in the Oakanagan!
