Thank you so much for the home cooked breakfast this morning. Scrambled eggs nice and fluffy, tasty sausages, hashbrowns done perfectly and not greasy AND of course the homemade bread. There is that certain flavour to homemade bread that is so delicious.
Topping all of that with the perfect blueberry cheesecake with the crumble topping❤️

I was really disappointed with my visit. The owners repeatedly allowed a dog to run through the kitchen from the cashier area while food was being prepared. Unfortunately, I even found dog hair in my meal, which is completely unacceptable for a food establishment 🤢 I won’t be going back

What a great spot for breakfast. The couple that run this place are very down to earth, beyond friendly. We felt right at home. This is Canadian hospitality at its best. The food was fantastic, polished off our plates, excellent coffee to boot. Oh yes, you gotta have the homemade 🍞 bread. Best bread I have ever eaten, other than my mother's, LOL.
Cozy place. Pressed paninis are great. The two ladies working there are wonderful.

The staff was kind and sociable, the decor taught us about the location and there were free news articles to read about the town. We were excited for this out of the ordinary, home cook'n restaurant. The down side is, coffee for dining in is served in a paper cup, the hashbrowns were processed fries, the bacon wasn't cooked fresh (stale and chewy), the breakfast burrito was beans and rice in a flour tortilla and covered with sweet chili sauce. Thankfully the toast was delicious with strawberry jam. We ate all of it because we are traveling, hungry, and spent a lot for the meal.

I got a chia tea latte with oat milk. To say the least for a 6$ drink I expected it to at least taste the chia tea and not just be warm oat milk. Definitely disappointed since it was to go and going back to get it fixed would be a hassle.
