Maybe you could publish a website or proper seasonal times. We found this place on Google and I went to bring my kids here today Aug 26th. Closed. No signs, no hours, no information. I called and I was told they were closed for the season. It's the middle of summer. Very annoyed.

We lived in Nanaimo for 7 years, visited Chemainus multiple times because our kiddos just love this place, murals, shops and even varieties of small restaurants, plus we always stop by during our summer tubing trips to Duncan; the funniest thing is everytime we stopped by, this cute little shop closed; so we always choose the one in front of the visitor Center, I just want to know the exact operation time of this shop(Month, Day, Time), so my kids won’t be disappointed again.

This place is incredible. The owner and staff are salt of the earth and take the time to get to know you. We love stopping here for ice cream whenever we are in Chemanius! Major plus, if your little one is under 32" they get a free "Wee bite."

best best best place in town for ice cream, shakes , sno-bobs and soft ice cream too . They make it fun to get ice cream with cool tokens and great service you cannot go wrong with this local ice cream shop!!! I had a black forrest chocolate shake that wàs recommended by the gentleman working and let me tell you it was by far the best richest creamiest milk shake I have ever had !! with a hint of cherry!!!! Good job baby bears !! I will be a big bear by the end of summer now that we know the best place to go in Chemainus. Did i mention the very cool courtyard with chainsaw carvings animal shaped shrubs and very nice landscapes with lots of seating.
