Went here yesterday based on reviews but was disappointed with our meals. Wor wonton soup was loaded with things however broth was mediocre tasting, shrimp was lukewarm & meat overcooked. My partner had the hamburger which was quite bland with a Caesar salad saturated with dressing. Overall, rather unimpressed. Indian food place across the street looked like it would have been a better choice.

Really disappointed with the Chinese food from this place.. I'm on a budget and thought 5 items for 20 would be great considering Wings is 3 items for 20.. I should of just went to wings atleast I'd be full because it was more like 2 items for 20 .. hardly any rice.. soggy veggies all chow mein and once again super small portions... what a complete waste of money I didn't really have to soend

Don't go here often but when I do, it's always good. Great variety for everyone, good portions, excellent service and desserts! If you are in Chemanius, don't hesitate to stop in.

Every aspect of our dining experience was so good here! We came with our friend who is local. We had the combination plate, their famous wonton soup, and a stir fry with chicken and curry sauce. We also tried their halibut dinner special of the month. They have amazing handmade pies, which was perfection. The food is so good, but the people were even nicer. They are the sweetest people you’ll meet. Hard working Chinese who knows how to cook amazing food and feed your soul too!

I can't say enough about this amazing family run restaurant in Chemainus close to the Famous Chemainus Theatre on Vancouver Island.
There were 12 of us for lunch on July 28th !! The service was prompt !! The menu was great as you could choose to eat breakfast, lunch or dinner !! There was a good variety of menu items to choose from !! Everyone expressed they enjoyed their meal , some had large breakfast, fish and chips - excellent, quiche and salad and I enjoyed the Monte Cristo sandwich with a Thai soup
We all enjoyed the lunch so much that 7 of us decided to return for dinner @ 6.00pm
4 of us had the small wonton soup ? and it was big enough and full of vegetables pork and alot of wontons - delicious ?
Highly recommend this restaurant
Will be back again ??

This was the absolute worst breakfast I have ever had to pay for. The eggs were over cooked and the plate looked toerrible with only a tiny amount of dried up potatoes. The waitress talked about herself constantly and it was not wanted or interesting. When she saw our food was over done she asked if we wanted it re done we declined tried to eat it anyways but both of us ate less than half. It was 47 dollars!!! For two poorly cooked eggs Benny and two coffees.Worst breakfast ever do not go here for breakfast
