Such a cute little bakery. Everything we had tasted so homemade and delicious like it was made with love! Best lemon bar I’ve EVER had in my life.

Husband picked up some Cornish Pasties for me. Spectacular. Not had anything so delicious… and dare I say it better than Cornwall! Well done.

Taste is very nice, and the price was just as good. About $4 for a cream filled croissant, but they had some other sweet things that looked tasty ($2 for a donut, $5~ for a slice of cheese cake, $3 for a pizza stick, etc)

This bakery has an old-fashioned feel. The baked goods are fresh and delicious, and so is the coffee.

Popped in for a coffee and a pastry with my parents and nephew. I had a snail which was pretty good. I think I'd like it better warmed up. My dad had the apple strudel which was good, but wish they had forks! Some of the savoury baked goods looked tasty as well, like the sausage roll. They also had bread for sale, but we didn't get any of that. We ate in, so it was nice to see that they had real cups and plates. Good prices too. Three tables inside for larger groups, and a couple of tables outside for couples.

Perfect Small Town Bakery [Chemainus BC] The community of Chemainus has this great little bakery. It was a 12-min drive from where we were staying in Crofton. We came here twice -- Sunday (unfortunately, they are closed on weekends). Business hours posted on their window are Mon-Fri 7:00a to 5:00p so we came back on a Tuesday afternoon. The different pastries in the display case looked so pretty and inviting... they even have egg rolls! I tried their Coffee Cake w/ Crumble Topping... not too sweet, just delightful. I also had the Apple Fritter... mmm, scrumptious warm apple fritter. I also bought a loaf of butter crust bread to take home (husband looked at me funny).Service was A+. Seating available inside and outside their store for those who enjoy sunshine. Delicious pastries at very reasonable prices. Even better deal when I saw the conversion from CAD to USD on my bank statement. My loaf of bread was a little over $2 USD.Review #3156
