Went for coffee-it was so good-half of us ended up having breakfast! They said best hash browns ever!My scone was yummy and I had a half sweet London Fog-the seating was amazing-the outdoor spots were lovely!Parking: Prob spots for 10 cars or so out front-but the cafe can be accessed by a walking/bike trail so lots of folk won’t need a parking spot. The cafe is along the Ladysmith to Chemainus walking/biking trail that goes by Stocking Creek

In the area visiting my parents, decided to treat them for brunch. My dad and I had the Avocado Benny, which was absolutely delicious. My mum had the classic breakfast plate, which I would try next time.My only gripe is the price point for the quantity of the Benny plate. Some home potatoes to accompany it would have been perfect.

The garden seating is wonderful. The coffee is just OK. The service ranges from poor (completely forgot my order) to wonderful (apologetic, friendly, service-oriented) -- ie uneven. Still, with such a nice garden-view area, it's worth trying lunch. But lower your service expectations.

What a sweet spot for coffee & a bite, in Saltair. I stumbled upon this gem, due to roadside signs (along Chemanius Rd, coming from LadySmith) saying "Coffee / Bakery" so kept going until I finally saw the Owls Nest Bistro!Beautiful gardens & patio, it was raining & inside is calm, large, spacious.16oz. Americano was good, Chicken Pesto Club was small (thin) for the price but tasty, nicely grilled.House salad was delish, spinach cranberry so tasty. Will be back!

Glad we stopped in for a light lunch & London Fog - good prices - fresh delicious food- tried the apple spinach salad & potato cauliflower soup - charming old train station remodeled. Clean. Very friendly staff. Quick service. We sat under the grape vine on the deck. We can't wait to go

Very nice location. Good coffee and friendly service. We had brunch it was good but a little expensive. Breakfast was on the small side for the price. Never the less it was very tasty.

What a delightful surprise to have a garden respite to enjoy a cup of coffee and wonderful baked goods. Just steps off the Cowichan Valley Trail, nicely situated between Ladysmith and Chemainus. I will be back!
