Patio was wonderful and lunch was hot and tasty. Parking below long stairs BUT there's an elevator right to the patio!

Grabbed dinner the other night and it took forever for drinks our appt came before the kids meals and the service was so slow and there were lots of open tables and lots of staff around just they were very un attentive. Sadly dinner was ruined when we had to listen to the assistant manager lash out and argue with the table behind us over the wait time and service and it was all cause he “ wanted them to have correct info as per him for their google review “ instead of what they experienced . And it went on , never heard an I’m sorry or anything ! Then watched him walk on the seats behind us to get something off the table and you could hear the stickiness as he stepped but never wiped the seat. Food was fine but the service was poor and the way he treated the customers behind us was atrocious !

Absolutely Amazing. Fresh, quick food. Variety of options from casual, wood fired looking pizza, hearty fresh fun salads and entrees. Robust beer and cider list. Can accommodate gluten free, dairy free and vegetarian options. Ample parking, friendly staff and large outdoor patio, include this one your list of places to visit!

Stopped at this local pub & grill on our trip to Chemainus BC, Van Island. Loved the garlic grilled prawns the best! The ceasar salad had lots of bacon & dressing. Our puppo loved the bacon. We sat on the dog friendly patio. My husband ordered the appetizer smoked meatballs & truffle fries. A huge amount of fries!

The hostess was very rude and after seating us was talking to herself outloud criticizing other customers as she cleaned the table, our server although fine at the beginning did not care when my wifes chicken was so slimy and smelled off, no apology or offer to refire just said thats to bad, my food was also very bad seemed like it sat under a hotlamp for a couple hours, the pulled pork was very dry, the cheese for the macaroni was clumpy and no bbq sauce on the pork.will never be going back, we would have been happier with the food at mcdonalds

This was my first time at the Sawmill and I would highly recommend. We met for my mom's 79th birthday and the food was excellent but the service was outstanding. We were greeted right away and made to feel at home. Paula was our server and her genuineness and attention to detail made the celebration very special. Thank you so much!

Used to be my favourite place for a burger. The last few times I’ve been there I’ve noticed a significant decline in food quality. Most recently, I had a burger which and the patty was very dry. The atmosphere is okay but it is looking a bit tired and not super clean.
