Great service and beer selection.Food has not improved since it was 328 Taphouse. I had the 50/50 burger and it was overcooked and cold. I would love to see this location succeed with regard to food, they have work to do.

Over the last three years I have taken many customers and buisness owners to the Sawmill for an amazing meal and great atmosphere. Had lunch today with a great customer and was very disappointed with the new menu. Being vegan and GF this was a great place for everyone to enjoy good food no matter what the dietary restrictions are. Almost all vegan items are removed and now are just "vegan options". Which means everything gets removed and you are left with either lettuce or fries if you are lucky. Like most restaurants. But the Sawmill stood out. I don't expect a lot from restaurants especially in today's world where margins are tight and every dollar counts. I get it. But, don't mess with a good thing. Looking for a new establishment to take corporate customers with an amazing menu south of Nanaimo.
Excellent food very well presented. Great service. We will be back again.

Went for dinner and drinks after work on Friday with a couple co-workers. Food was great. Wait staff was pretty green. No knowledge of the beers on tap. It's literally in the name of the place. ? Hopefully with more experience, knowledge will grow.

We went for a lunch a couple of days ago , my first time in about three years wouldn’t you know it l ordered the same thing l started with beer “of course” than a Caesar salad which was very good they did stop putting in fried chopped prosciutto which was a disappointment soup was excellent . Thin crust WOOD FIRED PIZZA just had to have it again the Fungi pizza was beyond delicious l love mushrooms and garlic let me tell ya l promise you can’t go wrong , being wood fired the ingredients were full of flavour .Totally understand why there’s a steady flow of pizza coming from the kitchen the menu itself has a nice selection of items and being a TapHouse the Sawmill definitely have that covered it was a pleasure dealing with the staff . Right on
