We had prawn Pad Thai and veggie spring rolls for lunch. It was amazing!
Ice cream was offered for dessert. Although it was very good, we were surprised to be charged for it. We thought it was complimentary since it was offered. We will definitely return though!

Discovered this cozy place for the first time yesterday for Valentine's Day dinner. Usually we head to Nanaimo for food that isn't available in Ladysmith, but thought to check what Chemainus had to offer as we were running later than planned. We are so happy to have found this place! Cozy, welcoming, and the most friendly staff we have encountered in a long time! Service was wonderful, food was very quick and so delicious! It was just like we were back in Thailand!!! The menu offers an excellent selection of dishes, something for everyone and spice levels to suit my preschoolers as well as those that enjoy a kick! We will DEFINITELY be returning soon as Thai is our favourite cuisine. We also can't wait to check out the patio once the weather gets nicer. I peeked out the window and the little patio looks out onto a famous Chemainus mural. If you haven't tried Thai Pinto Cuisine, you should head there today!
Vegetarian options: Many things can be made vegetarian!
Dietary restrictions: I have a dairy and sulphite allergy and I was able to find lots of options for dairy free and didn't react to any sulphites in the green curry that I had!
Kid-friendliness: We will be bringing our kids here. They would love the Pad Thai and the spice level will be perfect for them!

Thai Pinto is incredible tasting Thai food. Chemainus, BC has a real gem on their hands.
Staff is amazing and friendly and they altered a couple menu items for us.
The taste and quality of this food is well worth the drive. We have eaten in and done take out.
Wow !
Parking: Street parking
Just be respectful of the neighbors signs it’s only a small neighborhood
Wheelchair accessibility: It’s at ground level and easy access to the tables.

Another fabulous meal at Art's Thai Pinto restaurant. We were driving back to Victoria from Parksville & stopped for dinner. So happy we did - everything we ordered was plentiful & delicious. It's hard to beat the Red Thai curry at Art's restaurants (Thai Smile in Qualicum & the new Thai LumLum in Duncan). The quality & flavour of their Thai dishes never disappoint and remain consistent year in and year out. Thank you for your superb cuisine and warm hospitality!!

We had over 25 people at our lunch yesterday and everything was served hot and in a timely matter. Great food. Great job.

We ordered takeout, and it was ready in just a few minutes. The total left only enough for a small tip from my cash payment, but it was take out and wasn't sure what to expect... However, after taking a couple of bites in my car on the way home, I had to turn around and give the owner a proper tip—it was that good. I’ll definitely be back every time I’m in town… maybe even make a special trip just for the food!

Been here twice now and the first time was amazing. The second time less so, but partly due to the season and the crowd. The food was better the first time as seemed fresher (due to seasonal supplies maybe?) The staff are fantastic, friendly and professional even when run off their feet. One of the few places on the Island I have been back to. Went with a small family group both times and all of us enjoyed it. Very affordable as well.
Kid-friendliness: have a high chair, but a quite open space and sound travels. Probably best for other patrons to leave little ones at home if possible.(just my own preference)

Great experience tonight. Friendly and fast service. Star of the meal for us was the green curry. If we had more time I'd go back to try red and yellow as well! Thank you for the unexpected treat.
