I've been a customer for a few years... always enjoyed the cafe and food.
Recently, the scones are baked at too high a temperature making the exterior darker, stiff and almost crunchy (?)
The white chocolate chips are heated to caramelize. Sometimes less fruit.
Looking forward to a return to the previously lovely scones...

The atmosphere/architecture were my favorite thing here, nice classic wooden open plan room.

The menu lacked vegan options but the Staff were happy to accommodate.

Unfortunately the food was both small in portion and left little impression.

Not the best place to eat, especially if you're vegan.

But it's a welcoming place and one of the only eateries open in Chemainus the day I was in town.

I'm glad it's there, but I think I would have enjoyed myself more elsewhere.

Vegetarian options: Few.

Dietary restrictions: Not very good for vegan

Wheelchair accessibility: Yes!

We had a really delicious soup and cheesy scone today at the Willow Street Cafe.
I mentioned to Naomi that we had come out of an appointment to a flat tire.
She was amazing, she did some networking long story short a man named Ken who is a regular came to the rescue, took our keys went to our vehicle and got us up and running.
Doc the barber even offered to change the tire.
Chemainus what a GREAT community.
Thanks Naomi and Ken.😊

Service was no where near pleasant, the employees and owner were acting as if they were wasting their time serving us. I ordered a curry quesadilla, which the girl at the till told me was available upon ordering. I sat down to wait for my food and had the owner walk up and say “we have to cook the stuff for that and we aren’t going to, do you want something else?” no refund, no money back, even when asked she refused to give the refund. I ordered a chicken wrap in place of it , which was a few dollars cheaper then my original order and no money was given back or anything to make up for it. Once i got my food it was disgusting. the wrap was worse than a gas station wrap and looked and tasted like it had been in the fridge all night. i took a bite and was sick to my stomach, the chicken was rubbery and horrid. waiting to see if i get food poisoning. i immediately took my food back (1 bite taken) and requested a refund. management refused and gave us a gift certificate we will not be using. that went straight into the trash.
this cafe is a joke and the business owners clearly have no clue what they are doing.
health hazard.
also no mention of any of the ingredients for dietary purposes.

Rude impatient service from the waitresses. Food was absolutely awful. Wouldn't offer a refund only a gift certificate equal to the sum. They couldn't serve me the Curry Chicken quesadilla, they allowed me to replace my meal. I picked a cheaper meal but received none of my money back for the more expensive meal. Terrible experience. Hope you enjoyed cleaning that smoothie<3

Lovely place with a large dog-friendly, excellent service and delicious food. My friend ordered a salad bowl, and it was huge.

Had a delicious lunch here. Quesadilla and pasta salad. The salad was amazing. Next time I would easily buy extra of it to take home. Coffee was spot on as well. We had a great time exploring this town after lunch. Would definitely return next time we visit Vancouver Island.

Elderly owner man was incredibly rude after we got permission from staff to charge our E-bike batteries on the patio's GFI outlet. Unfortunately he didn't understand how safe our UL chargers and batteries are after explaining. He wasn't educated about it, and wouldn't listen to us. Screwed us over as we already paid for our food, and made us unplug. I would not recommend coming here if you are looking to use an outlet.

Rude and incompetent service. Not only was it bland and dry food I held my tongue email I didn’t let loose on these retards working there. I definitely won’t be going back and neither will any of the people I was with will be going either.

Find the bright yellow Cafe, step inside to enjoy excellent coffee, breakfast and lunches. It's all tasty and thoroughly enjoyable at reasonable prices.

Pleasantly found this place open on a Monday. Got to try their breakfast wrap which was amazing! The ambiance is very nice with brick walls and industrial lights situated in a cute old cabin. We spent under $40 for two food options and drinks.
Highly recommend
