I drive all the way from Coombs to have one of their fresh baked pastries. Awesome organic coffee too.The staff here go above and beyond.Set in or outside of a beautiful heritage building, it’s like a special event that you could go to every day . Prices are very reasonable too.

What a joke. Expectations must be pretty low around here.

The staff are friendly and efficient, and these days that's a rare combo, so I'm fully appreciative. They also seem to work hard at making people feel welcome. The coffee and food are really nice, so it's a great spot in my humble opinion.

Just discovered a delightful spot – Willow Street Cafe Chemainus, nestled in a historic building with a decommissioned bank vault. The combination of charm, friendly staff and delicious treats makes it a must-visit! ??☕️

I usually stop here for lunch while travelling up island and my previous experiences have been very good. However, during a recent visit the food quality and presentation were mediocre and not up to their usual standards. The wraps were bland, and a black hair was discovered in the pasta salad, which causes an immediate loss of appetite. I was about to mention this to a staff member but she was frantically cleaning to close up and was in a foul mood so I left not wanting to be a bother. The staff seemed tired and cranky, and will attribute this to holiday season exhaustion... but the food quality definitely needs attention. I regret I'll have to try eating elsewhere next trip.

Hands down the absolute worst meal I have had in years. Fries were cold and greasy, bread was stale. It was actually hard to swallow. Service was excellent.

I had a chicken and bacon panini on a cold misty December day. It was a treat to sit in that building and eat a delicious panini. Really mooted the food and atmosphere. Great service as well.

OK, I have tried other stuff here but my fav is cheese scone and pea soup. I live in Victoria and almost every time I travel up island I have to stop in here.(awkward confession sometimes I travel up island just for the scones and pea soup)Of the other stuff I have tried in the past I really enjoyed as well.
