New Tokyo Sushi Japanese Restaurant

Did not expect a good sushi restaurant in a rural BC town! The food and service was really good. The physical space felt like a conventional diner, nothing fancy but comfortable. Definitely recommend.
The amount of take out going out the door suggests this is a local favorite!

What a major bummer in what could have been a dope time. First time we came here the Filipino lady and old man were awesome and made great food. Second time, I’m charged $12 for a salmon avocado roll, the salmon gets handed to another dude, and then when I call them out on it, this older Asian lady snaps and tells me to stop spreading “misinformation. You don’t like the food, then don’t come back. Your choice.” Well I won’t be back. Serious harsh to my mellow. Trying hard to find the kindness in Chetwynd, and there’s glimmers of it. But then you have an encounter like this and it makes me want to never come back to this town. Thank god for table XII I guess. FYI I through the roll directly into the garbage - not risking time off work due to poor food handling related illness.

this place genuinely has the best sushi i’ve ever had, it’s so fresh and delicious anything from here is amazing. anyone who leaves a bad review here does not know good food

It's good sushi but since the other people have taken over the prices have jump up and I pay extra 20 bucks for the three rolls I order consistently
