I recently ordered food for pickup, September 2nd, and was very disappointed with the quality of the food. I ordered fajitas and taco salad. fajitas: very poor quality steak scrapes, plenty of onions, under cooked bell peppers, and only 4 tortillas. taco salad: all lettuce, 4 small peices of cucumber, a pinch of cheese and 1/8 cup of soggy chicken. gaucamole and sour cream side that was paid for was not included. we tried to phone multiple times and could not get in contact with anyone at the resturant. was not worth the $60 worth of food. would not recommend and will not be returning.

This place is INCREDIBLE!! The vibes here are so cool, the menu is huge and the food is so flavourful. The food tastes very authentic and the decor transported me back to sitting on a patio in Mexico. We tried the mango margarita which was SO GOOD and the Bulldog which was delish!! The nachos caught me off guard because I never knew nachos could be THAT GOOD! We tried a variety of the tacos and let me just say that they were some of the best we ever had. The service was excellent, very attentive! We will be back 1000%!!! Don't even second guess it, give them a chance! You will not be disappointed!

Messed up the order, added meat to a customers dish that was vegetarian, was rude about changing the dish. Got a refund, but not before they claimed they couldn’t do anything about it, slow service, avoiding a certain table. Food is sometimes good, but with inconsistent order errors, it really spoils it.

Very good food this evening, portion was a bit on the small side tonight. I had the flautas meal and felt i had to order something extra.

I felt completely ripped off.
$9 for a tiny and bad quality slice of cake? Not even high-end French pastry shops or specialty bakeries in Vancouver (expensive as it is) charge this much unless it’s a tall, luxurious slice made with top-tier ingredients. This was neither.

I ordered the tres leches and it was honestly one of the worst versions I’ve ever had. Tres leches is supposed to be moist, rich in cinnamon, and topped with a thick layer of cream and garnish. This one? Dry, barely any cream, no cinnamon, no garnish, nothing that justifies the price or the name. You can see in the photo: it’s disappointing. Even cakes from Walmart or Superstore are better quality.

I want to support businesses like this but It feels like greed, disorganization and struggle, to serve something so stingy and poorly made at this price point. If it had at least been delicious, I might have let it slide. But this? I wanted to laugh and cry at the same time. Please fix your recipe presentation and quality.

Great food! As a Latina it's always great when you find a properly authentic place. The enfrijoladas were awesome, the service was great and friendly. Highly recommend.

As a Mexican I gotta say that this restaurant has really good quality food! The flavour of what we ordered was amazing! Also a very good and friendly service! I’m definitely going back there!

We have visited a few times in the past and today we stopped in for a bite to eat with our kids.
- Tammy was awesome, friendly, and attentive to our kids
- Unfortunately, a few bites into my meal, as I put beans in my mouth I bit down on something hard. I pulled it out of my mouth to find it was a push pin, like the kind you hang stuff on the wall with!
- Tammy seemed genuinely sorry but stuck on what to do, like she wanted to do more but felt like she couldn't as the manager wouldn't be ok with her taking care of the situation. She took the beans away and offered more or anything different and comped my meal.
- It was an unsettling feeling as it could've been worse, and it could've been one of the kids.
- The kitchen staff, I was told, was shocked. However, they didn't come out to acknowledge it or apologize.
- The food / atmosphere was not like it used to be, the rice was bland, and the atmosphere seems off. Even without the thumb tack, it was something we noticed in comparison to previous visits and we were chatting about prior to receiving our food.

We likely won't be back again, the response to the thumb tack wasn't awesome and left us feeling uncomfortable. I'm glad I didn't accidentally swallow it and I am glad it didn't pierce into me as I bit down. I hope Tammy's employer can give her the confidence to serve client's in the way she feels is right for the situation. She is a great server and it's clear she's passionate about wanting to do more for the clients who are served there.

The food was good; I would like to suggest that the fajitas should come with three large tortillas rather than the small ones. The Fajitas were good but light on the meat and heavy on the yellow peppers; more red peppers and purple onion would be nice; also salsa and sour cream go great with fajitas; I do recommend this establishment as we enjoyed the food; some small tweaks would make it even better.

My husbands eaten here millions of time (ok, slight exaggeration perhaps) and I finally joined him. Such tang in their sauces and immense flavours in their foods! And everything tastes deliciously different from each other! He had the Mexicana burrito and I had some yummy tacos. This place is the only place in town that makes chorizo in house and it just tastes SO much better! Soooo much better than Hugo's!

Great food. Staff was fantastic. They charge a little too much if you order a little side of sour cream which should have come with the meal to begin with.
