As a croissant enthusiast, i’ve visited quite a few boulangeries across vancouver looking for a formidable french style croissant. Three things constitute a good croissant 1. Butter layering and crunch (including the bottom) 2. Inner complexion with internal airiness 3. Rich buttery taste. Essentially, the opposite of a costco croissant. This has it all, limited by the lack of cultured butter that can be found in europe. 4.5/5, best croissants i’ve had in Vancouver thus far.

So glad we drove a little further to get treats here - it was well worth it!! Top quality pastries. Lovely choices of breads, too.

This café is truly amazing! The coffee is top-notch smooth, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Even though we arrived quite late, they still greeted us warmly and took the time to recommend drinks and pastries, which made our international friends feel very happy and comfortable.
The space is clean and bright, with beautifully made pastries. The croissant and specialty desserts were absolutely delicious and memorable. You can tell this place values not just great coffee, but also the overall customer experience.
Must-try: Coffee, croissants, and their specialty desserts

This was my very first time trying this wonderful pastry, gifted by my host. They tasted so good that I can still remember the flavor! I only wish I lived closer so I could enjoy them more often. I’ll definitely treat myself to more the next time I’m in the area.
Real delicious, fresh breads and pastries! I love the different scones and crossiants! The service is unfortunately, missing. Young man working the till didn’t say a single word, it was beyond odd not even a hi. Rung me up without asking if I wanted more, packed my pasteries in 1 box which I didn’t want but didn’t bother at that point. Seemed miserable. I didn’t tip on my $30 purchase which is not like me but this was not any form of customer service. He seemed young but that’s not an excuse, not the right job if you have no customer service skills.

Make a point of coming to Anitas everytime I make my way out to Chilliwack. Best baked goods I have had in the lower mainland. The staff is always friendly and they did a great job with the space they have, even if its in an industrial area.

Who doesn't love this place? And the people that work here ❤️
Great sourdough and focaccia bread! Not hard to understand why they sell out quickly here. Cute place and very friendly staff.

10 outta 10. There's not many good bakeries around this part of the woods. The pastries are fabulous! So glad I found this place.

Anita’s Bread and Coffee is one of those places that just makes you feel good the moment you walk in. The smell of fresh bread, the kind service, and the honest flavours make it truly special. We tried a cinnamon roll and a flat white — both were incredible! Thank you for putting so much love into your baking. ❤️

My husband and I try top rated bakeries in every city we go to, and always end up back here as our favourite. Mouthwatering, life changingly good. Would die for these pastries! I am certifiably obsessed.
Worth making an excuse to drive to chilliwack for!

Anita’s offers the best sourdough in the Fraser Valley for sure. It’s moist, sour, salty, fluffy, and fresh of course. I also love the almond croissant. It’s crunchy and not too sweet.
Go early in the morning though. They bake everything fresh every day. You may not find a variety if you go close to noon let alone in the afternoon.
