Austin Fish And Chips

Came here famished after kayaking at Cultus lake and read some of the glowing reviews so I was really looking forward to a good meal. Easy to find, plenty of free parking and friendly service, but I was disappointed with my order of two piece cod with fries and rootbeer. The fries were just ok but my fish tasted dry and not flavourful at all- it actually tasted like those frozen kind you buy at supermarket and heat in an oven. Also the malt vinegar seemed watered down and lacking that malty lemony flavour.
I love a good fish and chips but unfortunately this wasn’t it. But the lady serving me was kind and attentive!

Excellent fish and chips! Everything was incredibly hot and fresh. The portion sizes were impressive for the price. The service was amazing. Our server checked in on is multiple times during our meal. Love this place!

If you want good fish and chips, LOOK NO FURTHER! By FAR they are the best in chilliwack!! A bit pricey but totally worth it!!

Ordered via door dash. Halibut and chips arrived hot. Halibut was delicious and not greasy. Fries were crispy on the outside but not over done. Only thing that would have made this meal more fabulous would have been a couple of packets of vinegar. 9 out 10 for sure
