Big D’s Smokin BBQ

We had Big D's for our daughter Olivias wedding last Saturday. The food was amazing... from the canapés to the sharing board starters, the BBQ boards and then the pizzas in the evening. We had the absolute pleasure of having Big D's BBQ cater our wedding food (both wedding reception & evening pizza's) and we couldn't be happier with the experience! From start to finish, their service was impeccable—professional, attentive, and genuinely passionate about making our day special. The food was nothing short of extraordinary—bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. Damon is a master at what he does, he can quite literally 'feed the 5000' as the saying goes! Our guests are still raving about how tasty all the food was. We had the Silver menu for mains with BBQ platters, followed by Woodfired Pizza's in the evening. Unreal. If you're looking for a caterer who delivers on taste, quality, and exceptional service, whilst also providing a relaxed atmosphere and vibe, look no further. My husband and I have been to a few events where Big D’s Smokin BBQ has been catering the meal- the food has been amazing every time! The meats are my favourite part and they have always been paired with the most delicious sides!

I have had Big Ds at several events, weddings, Christmas parties etc and it is phenomenal everytime!! My last experience was a recent Christmas party and once again, blown away by the menu!! The meat is always on point, no matter what it is (it was roast beef and meat balls) and the sides were killer too!!! I would recommend their catering service to anyone for any event!!

After deciding to have our daughters christening after party back at the house we couldn't decide what to do food wise. Thinking should we do it ourselves and what could we do, we went and had a chat with big D's bbq see what they could do for us. Well they could do anything and everything we wanted. We sat down discussing a plan and cost what we would like. Which was amazing. Turned up early we left them to it in the garden while we went to the church came back with our guest's and the food and service was nothing less than outstanding. I honestly can't believe what they pulled off for a garden party and neither could our guest's Highly recommended from us and we will be having another garden party as soon as we can just for the food and then we will be booking these guys for our wedding. Thanks again. We loved it.

Got them to cater my wedding this July the food was on time and set up quickly. It tasted absolutely amazing, definitely recommend the Mac and cheese and the meatballs both were a personal and guest favourite!!

The bbq pulled pork was outstanding! Not too spicy! The Mac & cheese with pulled pork and salsa verde was sooo good! Love that version of adult mac and cheese! The potatoes and beans were delicious as well. The owner was so friendly! Five stars from me!

Couldn’t recommend Damon and the team highly enough!! They provided the food for our wedding in Rosliston, South Derbyshire. They were friendly, communicative, helpful and accommodating to all our requests. There was ample food and the guests couldn’t have been more complimentary, especially the vegans and vegetarians of which Damon catered for perfectly. We were very late eating after the speeches but the team made it work for us and the food stayed delicious. They felt part of our day even getting involved to help my nephew fill up his bubble gun!!!

I was craving corned beef for St. Patrick's Day. I saw that Big D's had it and I knew that I had to try it. I'm very happy that I did. It was soo good. I am definitely recommending this food truck and I am definitely going back. I would rate the food 100/10. ☺️

Had them cater our fall wedding. We ran into a logistics' issue along the way and they tried to sort it out best they could. They also accommodated a special request for us. Very reasonably priced compared to other wedding vendors. Showed up on time and dinner was served promptly. All my guests made a point to tell me how good the food was.

We played a gig at at a wedding and had the privalege of enjoying one of the best pizzas we have all tasted . Lovely people too . Highly recommend Big D's The Jagged Rocks
