Blenz Coffee

I had a bad experience and tried many times to contact a manager to discuss the situation, but the phone was never answered and when I left a message, no one returned my call. I called the head office and had the same experience. I was enjoying their drinks and planned on having some coffee with friends there, but now I won’t be going back.

I absolutely love this place. The space is great, it's not too busy and the staff is amazing.

I just started buying their coffee and seriously one of the best coffees around. I like my coffee with a kick and I know buy the coffee beans for when I can’t make it in. There 2 for 1 Wednesdays are my favourite!

Paid 4 dollars for a medium and got a half full cup of the worst coffee I ever had. Didn’t even drink it.

I WAS a regular customer until today. I would go to blenz 3 or 4 times a week for a coffee and sometimes a pastry on my way to work.
Today I was running behind and only wanted to use the restroom. I was told that I would have to purchase something on order to use their facilities.
The server knew I was a regular, and was apologetic, but said I had to pay.
Because of the urgency, I purchased a coffee. But when I came out of the restroom I told her to keep the coffee. I also told her that as a regular customer, I am very insulted.
I hope the $3.25 was worth the price of losing a regular customer who has spent hundreds of dollars at blenz since moving to Chilliwack a year ago.
They say word of mouth is the best way of advertising. Or in my case, the worst way.

This place is disgusting and does not follow health standards!

Owner insists on keeping contaminated food out even after being instructed by health inspectors to discard of it. He also wrongfully accused a new hire of reporting Blendz to Fraser Health and proceeded to fire them, even after it was proven to be a routine inspection. David Quapp (owner) has proven to care more about himself and the money he’s pocketing over the treatment of his employees and establishment in general. The owner couldn’t care less about maintaining fair treatment for his employees or decent quality in the service/product, and it shows. Do not support this pathetic man’s business!

We will never be back again to support this establishment after seeing how the owner treats past and present employees and ignores food safety regulations…yuck! Putting the public at risk because you don’t want to waste money throwing out old and stale food is disgusting. Better off going to a local coffee shop down the road (Smoking Gun) or even Starbucks

Look elsewhere for your coffee needs! The food they serve is over expired, and they treat staff poorly. Not to mention the owner is an awful person, with no respect for his employees.

Upon entering the coffee shop it was immediately apparent how pretentious the owner was. He lacked respect for his employees who displayed nothing but excellent customer service. After reading 2 of the recent reviews, and after hearing about a similar situation that took place there, it’s clear that he has no issue letting go of staff without cause. He uses his jurisdiction to disrespect his staff and devalue those that do nothing but support his business and exhibit a welcoming environment to customers. The staff and the coffee at Blenz deserve a good review, but their positives are outweighed by the arrogant qualities of the owner, which he has shown on many occasions.

The owner was very rude to me and there was mold on my pastry…. Will not return!

Food is dry , drinks are bland and the over all experience here is dull. I wouldn’t waste your time try Smoking guns coffee down the street !
