Great ice cream and all but the whole taste is ruined by the TERRIBLE wooden spoons. Not only are they rough on the mouth, but the wooden taste you get with every bite ruins everything. We rarely go to DQ because it's gotten so expensive, but when we splurge and want to get good ice cream, you'd think they could at least afford a decent spoon for the price.

Since the new owners have taken over the downtown location it has become a disappointment and we will no longer try support it. The staff are rude, food is usually cold or barely warm. If you ask for fresh fries or your burger is wrong they argue with you or completely ignore you. (Never leave the drive thru without checking your entire order) We have been going here once a week for over 10 years before my kids karate class and unfortunately we will have to find a new place. I am done paying for food you can’t eat and supporting people who are rude. There are a lot of great places in Chilliwack and this is no longer one of them.

Drive through worker was extremely rude. Asked for extra hot fudge and I got fudge on HALF of the sundae. Asked AGAIN and all I got was a little dollop more and asked for extra on the side instead since they couldn’t follow my request and he refused and said jt would cost even more because they’ve “given the max amount of ounces” so I’d be charged. So I left and said that’s ridiculous. This isn’t the first experience we’ve had with indigenous family members in this location.

Terrible customer service I paid $18.83 for 2 large blizzards tonight Wednesday Oct 15th around 740pm and was given 2 watery runny bizzards and when I told the women to remake them. She said no it's all like that...
I wish I thought to get a refund yet I drove off...

I used to work here before I moved away from the Wack. The first owner was pretty ok, but everything went downhill after he sold the business. The new owner, Gurmeet, cut corners wherever he could.
One of my main responsibilities while I was working there was to clean the soft serve machines. After Gurmeet took over, it became damn near impossible to get new parts. Over time, the gaskets in the pumping system stretch out and degrade. Tears form where fungus and bacteria can grow. When I said I needed née gaskets for the machine, Gurmeet told me to put them in a baggie, squeeze all the air out, and wait a couple months. Another thing I needed was a new red cylinder, not sure what it was called. It is also part of the pumping system, and ice cream is supposed to go through it. There was some kind of liquid trapped inside, and I couldn't drain it. Gurmeet just ignored the problem. The ice cream is, more than likely not clean.
Workers were also treated unfairly while I worked there. One of my other responsibilities while I worked there was the stock order. During one of my shifts, I threw out my back, and future shifts saw me hurting my knee, and my hip. Gurmeet refused to let me switch up my responsibilities while I recovered from these injuries because he didn't want to pay extra people to do the stock order. He wanted me on that task because I was capable of doing it on my own, even while dealing with injuries. I am still dealing with pain in my hip and back from those injuries. I once caught covid while working there, and Gurmeet kept trying to get me back on shift while I was sick. Finally, multiple coworkers ended up quitting after realizing they'd been being shorted on their paychecks. I noticed my paycheck get smaller despite my hours staying the same. If you're working there, check your paychecks, keep a log of your hours, and make sure your wages aren't being stolen.

I ordered a banana split. They put old, very small bananas in it. Each scoop of ice cream was so small I finished each of them in 2 bites

The banana was hard and black, and awful tasting. The pictures posted is before I attempted to eat it. The only thing I did was pull the bananas to the surface. I couldn't eat the bananas. The ice cream and the toppings were a tablespoon each worth of ice cream. My wife's was pretty much the same, except her bananas were only black and still tasted ok. I would stay away from this dairy queen at all costs. If you are going to charge about 7 bucks for a banana split. Then give me something we can enjoy!
