I wish to bring to your attention an incident that occurred during my visit today, March 18, 2024, at 11:30, to pick up my order. Regrettably, I encountered a lack of professionalism and courtesy from a staff member on duty. Upon arrival, I was met with dismissive behavior as the individual stated they were busy and discouraged further interaction. Despite my attempt to engage cordially, the situation escalated, and I was subjected to unwarranted rudeness and argumentative responses. This demeanor was observed not only by myself but also by fellow customers present, indicating a noticeable departure from the expected standard of customer service. Furthermore, during the wait for my order, I found the staff member's persistent negative demeanor directed towards me to be unsettling and inappropriate. I trust that this matter will be addressed promptly to ensure a more hospitable and respectful environment for all customers.

Placed an order and they gave me the wrong one food was pretty good and I got a free donair out of the deal and only paid for one but the guy that paid for two is probably not very happy as he only got one lamb donair sorry good order though and chicken donair is actually way better then I

Ordered the chicken shawarma wrap and chicken shawarma rice dish. The wrap was on the extra salty side but the rice dish was seasoned perfectly. I found this odd since the meat probably came from the same rack. In any case, I was in town for another business trip and decided to stop in for some shawarma. This place didn’t disappoint. The girl who helped me was nice and even though a line up started to form behind me, she remained calm and did an excellent job building my meal. The wrap was also a bit difficult to eat (spilled some on myself) but that is more of a user error. Wraps are notoriously difficult to eat so choose the rice dish if you are in nice clothing. The place was brightly lit (too bright?) and was really clean. All the tables and benches looked clean. I would come back for shawarma if I had a craving.Vegetarian options: Not manyParking: Tons of parking spots as it shares the mall complex.Kid-friendliness: I think kids would love it hereWheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair parking spot right out front.
Been getting Donair Affair for over 7 years at this location. The rice platter is delicious! Their chicken is very flavourful and the portion sizes are great. A lot of the same wonderful staff is still there and it’s been a pleasure getting to know them over the years.
Rice with Chicken is by far the best I've ever had. I get it 2 to 3 times a week, and I can't get enough of the chicken. If I don't get the rice with chicken, I get a lamb Donair loaded. anyone that does not like this place is probably a Chop leaf lover, and can't be trusted.

Only complaint is it’s not closer to home … frequently travel south for work from the interior .Vedder Donair affair has become a favourite stop . If they are open it’s not often I drive by .

Been going to various Donair Affair's forever. Main complaint is portion size. It's ridiculously inconsistent and is dependent on who's making your food. It makes zero difference of you pay for extra meat or not. It's never worth it. Ever. Never pay for extra meat or a larger size. You just pay more for the same inconsistency. The Mayan bowl is the biggest rip off. $4 for extra meat, so you pay $18 you still wind up with a kids sized meal. Just got a regular rice platter $11.99 and a Mayan bowl with extra meat. $13.99+3.99 and the rice platter had more meat. Depending on who's serving you they'll also add random extra charges at the till. Keep hitting that extra $1 button and pretend we don't notice. The food is decent though.
