Fortitude Wine Bar

Fortitude was a cute spot for a girls night out. We both had the wine flights and they were excellent. I did not give 5 stars as I found the food underwhelming. For $35 a plate of the beef bourguignon, the portion was small, salty and underwhelming.

Really enjoyed my “girls night out” at Fortitude :) Delicious food + drinks, great atmosphere (tiny bit cramped/loud because you’re so close to everyone hence the 4 stars). Overall loved it and will be back :)
Recommend the Seafood Pasta + Nutcracker Old Fashioned drink :)

My second time at Fortitude was just as good as the first time. Lots of wine options and really good food. As always, the service at atmosphere were great!
All the menu items we had were really good and felt like they were just an ingredient or two away from being great!

Service and ambiance are always great. Food and wine never disappoint. Reservations are a good idea. Leave extra time to find parking. 10/10 Recommend.

Wine was amazing, loved how they have taste comparison of wines. Food was also nice, staff was checking on us little too much but overall great service, kind and knowledgeable.

The space is nice and the atmosphere was lovely. The wine was great and the food was good but it's definitely overpriced, especially for the portion sizes. I get what they're going for, but upscale doesn't have to mean small portions at big prices.
Our servers were friendly and attentive. We had a nice experience overall, the district 1881 is super cute, so it's a great and central location!

Have been meaning to try this place and finally went tonight!! Had the most amazing waitress Jacqueline. She was super friendly and great at giving us recommendations we even were not thrilled about one appie we ordered and quickly recommended the steak bites. Highly recommend

Stopped in for a glass of wine in the afternoon, and returned for a late dinner. Wonderful selection of wines. Bruschetta was absolutely amazing! Also had the Pesto Prawns. Hubby had the Chicken Alfredo and was very happy with his choice as well. Very good atmosphere and service. Would definitely return if the opportunity presents itself!

Probably one of the worst meals I’ve had in awhile. I ordered the chicken Alfredo and it was a watery, soupy, flavourless mess. It hardly contained any chicken, and the chicken it did have was the rubbery kind you’d find in a frozen dinner. The piece of bread that came with my pasta was a joke, it was a hard, stale end piece about 3 cm in size.

I have been to this restaurant many times and each time I'm impressed with the food and service. From small groups to even large ones I've always enjoyed their wine selection, cocktails and meals.
Their food menu has been evolving since they opened and everything I have ordered has been delicious. From flatbreads to chicken pot pie and pastas. All flavorful and recommended.
The service too I have always had great servers who are engaging and know their menu well. I will continue to go back and highly recommend this more upscale restaurant in the district.

Nice ambience. Great vibe. Went for dinner and for drinks we got Mojitos which were real good. For Food we got Hummus with Pita and Alfredo Pasta. Hummus was outstanding while the pasta was not at all good. All in all had fun and is recommended. Service was pleasant.

Just had our anniversary dinner here and it was fantastic. Service was outstanding and both food and drinks were very solid.

Surprised by the other reviews saying portions were small. We ordered a edamame hummus with flatbread appetizer that would have been a large portion for four people. We also took home leftovers of the mains.

Even if the portions had been smaller the quality of the food justified the price in my mind.

We'll definitely be returning!
