This place is an absolute gem, my boyfriend and I were visiting Chilliwack for the first time and were looking for a bite to eat in the District 1881. We saw the menu outside and went in, only then when we sat down we realized it was a wine bar. Neither of us drink alcohol so were a little embarrassed when we realized we would not be ordering any wine but our server(I’m so sorry I can’t remember your name) was absolutely wonderful. He was so welcoming and attentive, we ordered the bruschetta and the chef board along with two pops. The food was absolutely out of this world, it was so fresh and tasty and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We felt it was really fairly priced for the amount and quality of the food. A special shout-out again to our server, while we were there a man came in from the street to ask for water for his friend as it was pretty hot outside and without hesitation he ran back to get him water and whatever he needed. He really made the whole experience so wonderful for us.

First time experience here and it was very, very good! The flights are definitely worth a try! The flavoring of the food compliments the different wines perfectly. The server knew what she was talking about and was very friendly and energetic. Would go again to try a different combination of flights/food :)

Amazing wine bar!! The service is top notch. The staff are very informative on the different wines they have and extremely accommodating. The appies are delicious. I have never had a full meal so I can’t comment on that. The vibe and decor and great. Highly recommend. So nice to have somewhere like this in Chilliwack.

The atmosphere is great here, the service is great when downstairs not so much upstairs. The food was amazing when it first opened, we had the oxtail and it was insane. We keep coming back to try the new menus but nothing has been as amazing as that dish. I will continue to try it and bring my friends for the appies but it hasn’t been amazing for dinner latley :(

I was just at the Fortitude Wine Bar for my 20th anniversary. Outstanding service on a Sunday evening. They evening gave two ladies next to us blankets becaue it is 2 degrees outside and they where freezing when they came in.
Our food was great service was impressive. We will be back again for out 21st anniversary.

Parking: District 1881 makes no sense in a community where walkability is almost non existent.

Unbelievable meal! I am gluten free and it is hard to find a restaurant that offers a variety of gluten free. Not only did they have tons of gluten free options, the gluten free was unbelievable. You would never know it was gluten free. The custom wine tasting was fabulous too! Cody was fantastic and knowledgeable! Highly recommend to anyone! Especially the gluten free community!

Impressive wine list. Menu somewhat limited. Food excellet -- fresh ingredients! If it is cold outside, suggest that you go to the second floor.Met at the door (no waiting) and server was very attentive, friendly and helpful. We shared butternut squash soup which was thick, flavourful and HOT (this is highly desireable). It tasted almost like pumpkin soup. We also shared a bruschetta which was very fresh with red onion, and basil/parsley. Also shared the crab croustini and stuffed pasta. finished with lemon tarts which included a strawberry sorbet which was fantastic.We went up to the second floor as it was cool outside. This provided a great view of Thunderbird Lane outside.Parking: Street parking if you can find it. The store is off Young Road but a parking lot is close by. Limited parking and you have to walk about 5 minutes.Wheelchair accessibility: Ground floor access and outdoor only
