It is a nice concept. Dine in. Pick up or drive thru. However. If the owner actually tasted the food before they served it. They might of noticed how bad it was. The wonton soup was bland except the blast of salt. The fried rice was still cold on the inside. The chunks of meat were overly breaded to make it look bigger. So tasting almost all breading was a turn off.
Like I said. The concept is great. Prices are short of unbeatable. But if they continue with such low quality. All they will get are first time tryers that will say no thanks to coming back.
Just my honest opinion. Nobody else.

Wanted two separate items - one portion of Chicken Balls, one Portion of Fried Rice. I confirmed on 3 separate occasions with 2 different staff members that that is what I ordered. And yet they still gave me only 4 chicken balls and by comparison a comically large portion of rice. I’m assuming this is some kind of combo size. But even so… 4 chicken balls in a combo seems low. Food tasted good.

If you're looking for good, greasy, old-style Chinese food that you grew up on, this is the place. They've got cheap, delicious Chinese food. The almond chicken is just as good as the high-end places charging $18 a dish—it was super crispy on the outside and soft inside.

The chicken chow mein uses small noodles (I prefer bigger ones), but it was still delicious. The ginger beef was soft and not chewy. Chicken balls aren't my favorite, but the kids love them—you need to order the sauce on the side. The sweet and sour pork was spot on, and the honey garlic pork was perfect. The egg rolls are your typical ones and delicious. Overall, if you want home-comfort Chinese food, this is the place to go. Don't come here expecting health food.

**Cons:** No chopsticks given (but I didn't ask), and they don't have prawns in black bean sauce.

Ordered three dishes. Not the normal quantity tonight. Sweet and sour pork was very good and properly cooked. The house chow mein was dry and noodles seemed not cooked. The beef and broccoli I think the broccoli was waved over the pan and not cooked in it. The beef and the carrots were properly cooked but broccoli was raw. Disappointing. Also food wasn't ready when stated waited another 15 minutes after it was supposed to be ready

Ordered with DoorDash for the first time and what a disappointment. Szechuan Beef is nothing what you see on the picture, a few chewy pieces of beef and lots of big chunks of cabbage, taste like nothing. Combo chow mein is dry and tasteless.
Will never order again and will not recommend it. The food doesn’t taste like real Chinese food at all

Theres lots of myths surrounding Ginkgo but the wonton soup hits hard. Ive tried many places looking for a real good wonton soup and found it here. They serve it with beef broth so it has better flavour. The almond chicken is fresh, the other items are hit and miss. If they gave half portions of the chow mein and fried rice because I usually throw half it out after its cold.

The meat is a giant question mark. Doesnt look quite like chicken. Same with the beef.

after moving to Chilliwack, six months ago, all i can say is, the restaurants here are awful in general compared to metro Vancouver. The food at this restaurant was dry, bland, flavourless, and the chicken was mushy.. nothing much to say but ive had food court Chinese significantly better.
