LOVE the store. Only 3 star because I feel like some of the staff could use a lesson in basic customer service interaction. Instead of ‘what do you want’ or ‘do you want something’ - a simple ‘Hello, how can I help you?’ is more customer friendly. Again, love the place but I usually leave feeling like the employees don’t wanna be there or I was an annoyance to them by shopping there.
This Dutch supermarket in chilliwack is a hidden gem. There are lots of intriguing and interesting food stuff and a great array of candy imported from Holland. There’s also a deli counter for sandwiches, good quality, deli, meats, and a lovely selection of imported cheeses. The store also carries a small selection of housewares and body products and cleaning products from Holland.
I was so excited to visit this store!! The staff were so helpful and friendly. I had kroketten on a fresh bun with mustard it transported me back home to Amsterdam. They had vla!!! It was plant based, but the vanilla tastes like regular. The licorice was so fresh and great variety!!! So many awesome gift ideas too. ♥️
