Our first time eating here. The food was perfect. The waitress was very attentive. I was pleased with the final cost. I definitely reccommend this place. Even though they were busy we had a very nice quiet meal.

Jimmy J's is our go-to for breakfast. Lots of menu items to choose from, delicious food, friendly hard-working staff and way cheaper than other places with the same great quality of food

This restaurant is always our family’s first choice! The food is consistently delicious, and the staff are always friendly and welcoming. The portion sizes are generous, and the prices are very reasonable for families. I have no doubt in my mind that I’ll keep coming back! Bonus: the Christmas decorations are bright and cheery for the xmas season!

Went to this restaurant on a Sunday afternoon and it was very busy so we ended up waiting for a table about 20 minutes. There was four of us, we soon had a table and the waitress was friendly and helpful and the food that was served was very tasty. A variety of breakfast food to choose from ranging from omelettes and pancake meals and French toast and waffles. Salads, burgers and soup and sandwich. Etc, reasonably priced food for what you get. I have been here a few times but mostly for breakfast food.

As a veteran who has proudly served this country, I feel compelled to express my deep disappointment with Jimmy J's Grill for choosing to fully decorate for Christmas inside the restaurant before Remembrance Day.
This is not a trivial matter. November 11 is a sacred day in Canada—a time to honor the men and women who gave their lives in service to this nation. It is a day of solemn reflection, not one to be overshadowed by festive lights, garlands, and commercial cheer. When a business chooses to prioritize seasonal marketing over national remembrance, it sends a clear message: that profit and premature celebration matter more than respect and gratitude.
I understand the pressures of retail and the desire to get ahead of the holiday rush. But there is a line, and Jimmy J's has crossed it. The decision to decorate so early—inside the establishment where patrons gather—shows a lack of awareness and sensitivity to the values many Canadians hold dear. It’s not just about timing; it’s about respect.
This choice is especially painful for veterans and their families. We don’t ask for much—just one day of undivided attention, one moment where the country pauses to remember the cost of freedom. When businesses like yours jump ahead to Christmas before that day has passed, it feels like our sacrifices are being brushed aside.
I will be sharing this experience with fellow veterans, not out of malice, but out of concern. We deserve better. Our fallen deserve better. And your community deserves a business that understands the weight of its choices.
I urge you to reflect on this decision and consider how you can do better in the future. Hold off on the decorations until November 12. Show your customers—especially those who served—that you value remembrance over revenue. It’s a small gesture, but one that speaks volumes.
Lest we forget.

Ordered ribs and received some unidentified pieces of fried meat. Thought maybe ribs were different in Canada but that would be ridiculous. Received a free birthday dessert but no ribs for my birthday dinner. Very disappointed.

Went for dinner with my family last night and it was awful. My food was dry (chicken and bread), my parents got baked potatoes and veggies and they were cold. My plate had nasty gum on the bottom of my plate. Booth we sat at was dirty and food on the seat. My daughter's Mac and cheese - we found carrots in it. Awful experience. Will never go back. Very disappointed. Waitress was kind enough to not charge me for my plate due to the gum.
