Dine in service. We got there at about 4:30pm sat for a whole hour without even being given drinks. My food ended up being cold while everyone else’s was steaming. Waitress was incompetent.

I’ve been a worshipper of johns fried chicken ever since 2023ish when a printout advertisement of their glorious restaurant made its way into the hallways of my school plastered on my locker, the thrill of tapping my card knowing full well im about to dine like a king or eat straight dookie is more fulfilling than the actual substance they offer but I care not.

I’ve been getting their poutine religiously and theres been some crazy misses, at times I’ll order and itll be in a small container with horrendous gravy and crappy fries and other days (much like this wednesday) I’ll have the most splendiforous poutine ive ever tasted in my life. fries crafted by the hands of god and cheese melted to perfection by the gravy equivalent to liquid GOLD. I havent bothered with their chicken in years since they changed the recipe a year or so ago so I cant say much buts its mediocre at best, nothing beats the thrill of ordering from johns fried chicken you really dont know what to expect. the service is definitely on the lower end, the people are lovely but clearly overworked and are often times running around but LORD they cook up a dellllllliiiicious poutine.

I’ve shared countless memories over the exquisite (or straight dookie) meals I or my classmates have ordered from this fine restaurant and frankly I would’ve stopped coming years ago had the love of the sport not kept me coming, highly recommend but also I’m biased because johns fried chicken is essentially my place of worship. I can’t recall if this is still the case but I distinctly recall sitting in there devouring the most delicious chicken while watching AI slop play on the screen of different women just posing by cars, I cant say I understand what was happening or the channel but it was something.

To sum it up, its a gamble but its really good I hope they stop changing the poutine recipe because I think they’ve reached its ultimate form. Long Live Johns Fried Chicken I will never stop sacrificing my money to you John whoever you may be. ✊

I dropped by to buy a burger as there’s only two people dining in thinking i will get my food quick.
It took 30 mins for ONE item when there’s only two people dining.
I do not recommend dropping by here if you have places to be as the wait time for the orders are too long.
