Old Yale Brewing: Chilliwack Craft Brewery + Kitchen

Great food and great choices for beer. Really relaxed place to hang out

We have gone to the Abby location often but we were in Chilliwack today and thought we would have a nice lunch at the Chilliwack location. When we sat down the server brought a menu and explained that they weren’t serving any fried options (we were looking forward to poutine), I asked about pizza, but they don’t do pizza. I asked for a coke to drink, but they don’t have coke……here’s the thing, we were forced to order menu items we wouldn’t normally order, but both the food and service were so fantastic that we left very satisfied with our experience. We Highly recommend giving these guys a try!

I visited this location and ordered a beer and a one ounce Caesar… you would not let me have both drinks and this email proves you were wrong.

For $22, the pizza I received was horrendous. I ordered a BBQ chicken and there were barely any toppings and the chicken tasted old. I happened to walk by a staffer meal having the same thing and you'd swear you're at a different restaurant. Lots of sauce and toppings and what I was expecting to recieve I feel ripped off to see such a comparable difference I won't be recommending this place to anyone The service was great, but the food was subpar Thanks for the $2 pizza because that's about all it was worth. Also looked like it was made by a toddler

We are never disappointed when going to Old Yale. They have a welcoming atmosphere, great selection of beer, and awesome food. It’s the perfect place to meet up with friends. Highly recommend!

Great atmosphere, great drinks, great food. Kid friendly, they even have board games. Food and drinks are fair priced and portion size is good. Try their yam fries, you would regret it.

Good beer but 30$ for a burger at a brewery? 20$ for a grilled cheese??? Used to be good but now they're just greedy

This is a great spot with a solid beer selection and a laid-back atmosphere. It’s perfect for relaxing over a few drinks, especially with the option of playing board games. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which made for an enjoyable experience.

While we enjoyed our time, there’s a bit of room for improvement on the food side. We ordered truffle fries and nachos. The truffle fries were fine, but the nachos didn’t quite meet expectations—they were served with fries and sauce instead of the classic chips and cheese. They were also a bit on the pricey side for the portion size.

That said, I’d definitely return for the beer and the overall vibe. I’d love to see this place thrive and hope to see some tweaks to the menu in the future!

We had a reservation for a larger birthday celebration Saturday night! We had a great server, great beverages, and I loved my Sasquatch burger!!! OYB never disappoints!!

The meals we had were good, and had fresh ingredients. The beer selection changes. Bon Appetite!

Friendly environment and excellent service

Old Yale is my local brew house. I am a huge fan... the new updated menu and great evolving selection of beers keeps us coming back. Jason and Amy are two of the best servers about... both kind and social. They are great at making Old Yale my first choice. See you all soon!!! P.S.... Mango IPA should be a staple beer. Just sayin....

Been to the Abbotsford one several times and it's great.
Just tried the Chilliwack one, my kid's burger tasted weird so he only had a couple bites of it, I asked for fries to replace it and I ended up being charged not only for the $25 burger but the $8.50 fries as well. Disappointing experience. $80 bill. Lame. It was a nice atmosphere and I would have liked to have gone back there but I won't be after being charged for a burger my kid didn't eat.
