For a hotel, it was fine. I was looking for a proper restaurant, but it fit the bill.

Great cocktails: Cosmo, Scooby, and empress lychee top recommended. Beautiful outdoor seating with afternoon shade right next to the pond.

Food was so-so: Potato skins were overcooked and ~8 tiny wedges with bacon and green onions added prior to cooking and smothered in BBQ sauce. Suggest having the chef add the green onions afterwards and add BBQ sauce on the description or leave it off. The nachos were huge. Both dishes the cheese stuck to the paper underneath. Two sides of beans were ordered and taste and texture were different in each and also possibly had the BBQ sauce mixed in them. Steak was medium, instead of medium-rare. Fry portions were huge, but way over salted. The couple next to us mentioned theirs were salty too. Poutine was huge and tasted okay, cheese a little rubbery. Suggest cutting some of the appetizer portions in half. Butter chicken with dryish basmati rice and a little wilted lettuce garnish. Dishes appear Indian, Mexican (nachos had red, white, and green chips), and Canadian, so something for everyone.

8:48pm - June 29th - I just had a very disappointing experience with one of your staff members. We called to place a dessert order and enjoy some treats while on vacation. But the waitress who answered was extremely rude. She seemed unfamiliar with the menu, had a noticeably negative tone, and acted irritated that we were even calling. Her attitude was so off-putting that we decided to order from somewhere else. I had the phone on speaker, and even my partner commented, “Wow… what an unhappy employee.” The menu was not even close to what’s listed online and also needs to be updated.

Restaurant is now run by an independant for lunch and supper. Food was very good, reasonable price, good portions. Service was very friendly and always their when needed.

The restaurant has a great view out ver the pond and park. Makes the Coast Hotel and even better place to stay.

Best Sunday Brunch Buffet!

The restaurant itself was really nice some of the decor was dated
The service was ok she didn't seem like she wanted to be there
The food was terrible took 40 minutes to get served cold food i thought it was taking so long because I asked for extra crispy hashbrowns but they were limp and cold the bill cam and I was very surprised they charge that much for terrible food
Save your time and money go anywhere else really

Went for the Christmas buffet expecting it to be in the restaurant as the buffets usually are. This time they put us in the conference rooms at conference tables. For the first sitting it was almost all seniors so we felt we were in a nursing home. The buffet did not have ham. Also the desserts were the same desserts as they have for the breakfast buffet with nothing extra, donuts for Christmas dessert. The buffet was $60 each very very disappointed will not be back.

We had a great meal and great service. Highly recommend the steak and the ribs. The local corn was delicious. Ashley was our server and she friendly and went out of her way to accommodate and make it a pleasant evening for our family. Thank you!

Terrible restaurant. Horrible service. Disgusting food. Some large woman waved us over from the restaurant entrance and as we were walking up she asked us if we wanted to start with water to drink. Very unprofessional and inexperienced server conduct by all servers. Restaurant was quite empty. The steak I ordered was cold and resembled a minute steak, all flat and tough. Or it was re-warmed from the day before. Never going here again.
