Rude staff, terrible food, and a circus-level management team.

Absolutely rude staff and genuinely disgusting food. 🤢🤢🤢🤮🤮🤮🤮It felt like the kind of meals you’d throw together for animals — not something you’d ever serve to actual paying customers.

The servers walk around with their noses in the air, acting like we’re being a pain for doing exactly what keeps their business alive: being customers. The arrogance is unreal. They look down on you, act irritated, and behave like serving people is beneath them.

Nothing about this place is worth the hype.
Disgusting food. Disgusting service. Disgusting attitudes.
I will never return.

Whoever is managing this place must be running a full-blown circus, because the entire environment feels chaotic, unprofessional, and completely out of control. 🤡

Save yourself the headache and YOUR MONEY— anywhere else is better than this.

Publicly yelled at, humiliated, and treated like I didn’t matter. Never returning.

My experience at the Ricky’s in Chilliwack was so unbelievably unprofessional that I actually left shaken. I’m genuinely shocked that someone like this is allowed to represent the restaurant.

I followed the sign at the door that says “Please Wait to Be Seated” and stood there for 28 minutes. No exaggeration — I checked the time.
Nobody greeted me. Nobody acknowledged me. Nobody even said “one moment.”

An elderly woman came in behind me and was ignored just as badly. She finally sat herself because clearly the staff didn’t care to assist her either.

After almost half an hour, I stepped up the small stairs because I’m new to the restaurant and thought maybe I was waiting in the wrong area.

That’s when I encountered the blonde waitress — and her behavior was honestly disturbing.

She had the exact attitude of a stereotypical “mean girl” from a movie — dismissive, cold, and acting like basic customer service was beneath her.
Instead of helping me, she raised her voice at me in front of other customers and told me to “go sit down and wait.”

After I had already waited 28 minutes.

She rolled her eyes, smirked, and looked at me like I was a nuisance she couldn’t be bothered with. It was humiliating, unprofessional, and absolutely unacceptable.

This wasn’t someone having a bad day — this was someone who clearly did not care at all about basic respect, customer service, or how she spoke to people. The attitude, the tone, the eye-rolls, the public embarrassment — it was all completely unnecessary.

This was my first time ever trying this restaurant, and after being treated like this, it will also be my last. I will never step foot in this location again.

Management needs to seriously review this incident because nobody — especially new customers and seniors — deserves to be treated this way.

Husband felt dismissed by the waitress when he voiced a concern. Food was just ok. Nice atmosphere though. Update. We went back today. Had a very very long wait for breakfast. We didn't order any thing unusual. Even the waitress said she didn't know why it was taking so long. When I asked if they could take off the price of the extra hollandaise, which was 4$, we were told no. Am so unimpressed with this place.

Decided to get turkey take out for Thanksgiving. Sooooo disappointed!!
One thinly sliced piece of turkey that wasn't even whole. Mostly vegetables, totally not worth half of what we paid!

Great salad BUT would have been better if they had of put the dressing with it!!

This Ricky's is overall a reasonable restaurant but have had some poor experiences. There's a salad that comes with grilled chicken and for the last two visits the chicken has a 'chemically' taste - almost as if the burners aren't clean. My wife has given up on ordering this item as it's been this way a couple of times. We've since gone to other Ricky's and this chicken has been absolutely fine. Otherwise this restaurant is OK.

Amanda at the Chilliwack Ricky’s Restaurant was absolutely amazing in kindness, service and smiles. Our trip had a variety of dishes with our own needs and arrived absolutely perfect.

We are so happy that with the plethora of breakfast restaurants in the area we were so thankful we chose this one.

Food arrived hot and very quickly and our cups were preheated making for a delicious hot cup of coffee.

Highly recommend this location and if you are blessed enough to have Amanda as your server you we have the very best in hospitality and experience.

I never thought I’d be saying this about any Ricky’s but this was great all around. We had breakfast and dinner here. Staff, food, decor is great. Large portions. Fresh. Perfect for its target audience. Management is obviously good and, just by the fact that a chain restaurant is replying to reviews, it shows they care.

Went to rickys for breakfast today with the family. Ahead of our long road trip. Food was great the service from our waitress was 10/10 all quick and good quality. Thanks rickys I'm sure we'll see u soon

The staff is fantastic. Food was done the way I enjoy. Coffee is strong but helped wake me up haha. This is the only place in Chilliwack we go to for all our meals. Like coming home Thank you
