Royal Zayka Cuisine of India & buffet

Very disappointed.I came here five or six years ago.Maybe they've changed ownership, but it was so good before. I brought people out to come try this restaurant.I would order food, bring it out to family and friends in the city.It was the best.I decided to order takeout last night and was I ever disappointed! The butter chicken sauce had okay flavor was very bland and chicken seemed processed and dry the sauce was super runny, liquidy. the palak paneer was even more disappointing it tasted like canned spinach, not fresh at all. Horrible flavor not good worst palak paneer i have had. Disappointing i will not eat here again.Not good!

Amazing lunch special for $10. Delicious butter chicken, coconut curry, normal, salad, rice and naan for only $10. The food was great - this place should be packed!

Really enjoyed my meal, they were very accommodating for dairy free, vegan, vegetarian options and their lunch special was great value.

I thought their layout and decorations inside were very nice and it was a great atmosphere to have a lunch meal.

The food tasted great and it was good portions. Parking is easy and it is in a nice part of town.

Would recommend.

Very good food and place overall but the Manchurian was a bit dry. The Hakka noodles were very filling. We came for dinner and there was no one except for us and the staff. 4/5 stars

My brother has been a long time fan of Royal Zayka, and while visiting we had to visit!
Our server was fantastic, met us with a great attitude and got us seated.
Easily took our order and helped us out with the menu.
The food was absolutely delicious. We got three different curries, all of them were fantastic. Such deep flavours and amazing colors.

I have visited so much indian restaurant in different place of the globe and I can tell you this place is really good. Service is perfect, prices are correct. Naan is not the best but definetly good. I will 100% recommend.

I had a pickup order, and when they saw I was riding my bike, they brought the food to the door for me. Then I discovered a little mango-pudding type dessert they'd packed for us 'on the house' and it was such a lovely little surprise, and SO GOOD! The poritons for the rest of the food were great for the price, and everything is cooked really well too. If you're looking for quality food and better service, this place is a must-try. 👍

Looks like I'm going against the norm here, but I have a hard time believing people think the buffet is incredible. I'm not sure how many reviews pertain to the buffet itself, and maybe the food from the menu is different, but we were so disappointed. We arrived within an hour of the buffet being available; probably 2-3 weeks ago. I'm behind on writing this review.

Everything was bland first and foremost. We love Indian food for the depth of flavor in the sauces; that rich flavor of spices and warmth. Every sauce was bland and incredibly thin, watery. The nan bread was not fresh - no way. It was hard around the edges. Perhaps from the night before?

The samosas did not taste fresh or have any real discernible taste. We wondered if jarred sauces or frozen food were used.

It was our 1st time visiting, and the server didn't engage with us at all, nor ask if we wanted a drink at all once seated! I did want chai, but she looked so unfriendly, and we truly felt like we were somehow intruding on a private party.

It was such a lack luster experience. If the service had been friendly, maybe it would have made it somewhat better? But still not enough to go back. The menu items must be better given the reviews.

Wow!! We recently moved back to Chilliwack and Royal Zayka is better than ever! Delicious chicken tikka masala & mutter paneer! The veg samosas were also delicious, according to my family. I have to eat strictly gluten free (allergy) and I felt very safe ordering from Royal Zayka. We will be back!! Generous portions & fair prices too!
