Wow!! We recently moved back to Chilliwack and Royal Zayka is better than ever! Delicious chicken tikka masala & mutter paneer! The veg samosas were also delicious, according to my family. I have to eat strictly gluten free (allergy) and I felt very safe ordering from Royal Zayka. We will be back!! Generous portions & fair prices too!
We went to have dinner on Friday evening, we arrived at the restaurant at 8:30pm and the website said closing time was 9:30pm. The waitress was cold towards us and was trying to rush which we understand but the cold attitude was not necessary. We ordered just two dishes as it was near closing time. Paneer pasanda was good but was lacking salt, when I tried to add salt the salt can was not working, when I opened it the salt was frozen like it was there for a long time and was not replaced. The waitress tried to give us other salt cans but it was the same, finally one of them worked. We ate quickly to avoid any cold glances. Would not suggest going for late dinner.
Love lpve love this place. There Naan is the best in town and they have amazing lunch specials and great prices.
Delicious!
Tasty!
We recently ordered takeout from this delightful little restaurant and were thoroughly impressed with the experience. The fish pakora, despite a dismissive review we’d seen, was a standout—its unique, light batter paired beautifully with the sweet chutney sauce, making it a hit with us. The butter chicken, though it looked watery at first, surprised us with its robust flavor and perfect medium heat.
The vegetable samosas were a highlight, arriving super crispy with a flavorful filling that didn’t disappoint. The restaurant also included beef samosas—smaller in size and not our usual choice, but still well-executed for those who enjoy them. The palak paneer was another winner, rich with spinach and expertly spiced, pairing wonderfully with the delicious garlic naan and earning high praise from the kids.
As a special touch, they added coconut rice for free—a item that brought a sweet, cooling contrast to perfectly balance the heat of the butter chicken. Overall, this small gem of a restaurant won us over with its flavorful takeout offerings, generous extras, and reasonable prices. We’ll definitely be ordering from here again!
I asked for recommendations and they were super helpful. I asked for real hot 🔥 and I got it!!! Warning ⚠️, super delicious!!
The food was great. The mango chicken was absolutely incredible, however, chicken tikka was a little bland although tasty. Why I won't come back is the service. I ordered pick up and the waitress/hostess was not friendly as I picked up my food. Customer service is important to me and I would choose mediocre food over rude staff. I don't like spending my money at places where I don't feel welcomed.
Delicious.
Such a kind touch #royalzayka. Free Rice with my Curry chicken order

This place is a hidden gem for people who love good authentic Indian curries. My personal favourite was the Chicken jalferezi combo and the chicken tikka.
My husband ordered the Lamb Korma and chicken tikka masala. Both the curries were absolutely delicious.
The most amazing thing that reminded me of home was the mango chutney. Not too sweet nor to Savory. It was just the perfect balance. If I could I would give more stars. Amazing hospitality by the staff as well.
Love the food and the service is beyond good!!
I just moved up the street from this place and have been meaning to check it out. I had the butter chicken lunch special and added 1 samosa. The butter chicken was made with chicken breast and it was cooked to perfection, and super flavourful. The naan was crisp, airy and the the perfect vessel for the aromatic butter chicken. The samosa was a little overdone on the inside, I prefer the potatoe a little less mashed in texture, at $3.95 I think I will skip that on future visits. The lunch specials range from $9.99 - $13.99 which is a steal these days, especially considering the portions. The service was super friendly and attentive, and the restaurant itself was clean with great music and ambiance. I left with a satisfied full belly and enough food for another meal, you can't beat that!
I really enjoy their food especially for its price. Plus their employees are really nice to meet. That's always good 😊
This is without a doubt, the best Indian in Chilliwack. We had a mix of different hot dishes, rices, and breads. The whole meal was just stunning and the best we Brits have had since coming to Canada. Keep up the good work guys, we will be back for more!
