Shandhar Hut Indian Cuisine - Downtown

I ordered take out from the Sardis location and on getting home discovered my order was not correct. Instead of mild Veg Korma I had been given very spicy shrimp curry. My mom is allergic to shell fish so this was actually a problem. I called to say my order was wrong and that a family member was allergic to shrimp… I would never have ordered it. I was told I could come get some Korma but would need to pay for it. I was also told I would get a call back but no one has called. After paying $70 for a take out order that was not correct I was hoping the restaurant would be willing to correct their mistake. Sadly this does not seem to be the case.

The food and service was absolutely incredible, Karam our server was so delightful and so helpful and so quick to help us. The food did not take long to come to us and it was the best Butterchicken EVER!!!
The restruant was so clean and the bathrooms were so clean.
Definitely coming back again!!

We visited Shanghai Hut in Chilliwack on our way back from a trip. Our server SIMRAN is worth mentioning, she was professional and yet so friendly. Recommended amazing dishes and made sure we are comfortable. Food quality, variety and cleanliness at the restaurant is something needs to be highlighted. If you’re from chilliwack or visiting and looking for the best Indian(Punjabi) restaurant; this is must visit. 🤗😊

Had a wonderful experience! The food was absolutely delicious—highly recommend trying the flatbread, it’s a must. Our server, Simran, was extremely attentive and helpful, which made the evening even better.

First time reviewing something important about a restaurant whose rating is above 4.5 and staff manners and etiquettes are really below 1 or even 0 . Actually not the staff but I would say was the owner. He after getting a sincere feedback about the dinner food we order literally asked me never to come back or order again instead of accepting how the dish they served me was so bad and smelly.

I do not want to mention anything about the worst tandoori chicken i ever had But I just want to mention to people reading this please do not waste your money ordering food from here.

I hope #foodsafe and #cityofchilliwack visit there and give a good look at what they are really cooking inside !!

Shandar Hut is amazing! The food was fresh, flavorful, and authentic. Service was excellent, and we were warmly taken care of by Simran, who made the experience even better. Highly recommend for great food and friendly service!
