kofta curry, butter tofu, Palau, fresh nasn... All excellent. Great selection. Thank you Simran (server) and Chelsea (host) and amazing chefs. All they need are some vegan dessert options.

😁We loved the restaurant! We were there to celebrate Bev's birthday and we were treated like royalty. Komal and her assistants, Tom and Jerry looked after our every need. They even sang Happy Birthday to her at the end of our visit. Well done, staff!

I would like to take a moment to express my gratitude to Gordon Atti, owner of the new Shandhar Hut at the bottom of Promontory Road. Gord is actually a client of mine and has used my services. Last night we crossed paths and he insisted on me coming in for a complementary meal. Without hesitation I accepted and all I can say is THANK YOU! Not only is this brand new establishment breathtaking inside, the service is so genuine and kind. Now, let’s move onto the meal.. Wow, wow, WOW!!! It was like a piece of art that was ushered to my table by a ROBOT! How cool is that?! And yes, there are real servers there too. The flavour of my butter chicken meal was to die for and the naan bread was the best I’ve ever had! Gord, I would like to thank you for your kind gesture and for showing just how incredible you run your family restaurant, you’ve just earned a loyal customer for life, thank you! ✌️😃

I wasn’t going to write anything but couldn’t help
We ordered shahi paneer garlic naan and Hakka noodles, everything was so bad!!
We ordered everything medium spicy
The noodles were overcooked and sweet???
Shahi paneer was so sweet
And the naans were so hard
Our mood was spoiled after eating here

Was pleasantly surprised at the interior of the new Promontory location. Service was great (and patient with our group), decided to try something different and I guess I was craving potatoes and ordered the Masala Fries and Samosa Platter. A lot of food for one (as I am a small eater), but the waitress packaged up a dose of sauces for me to enjoy later with my leftovers. We've been getting take out for years from Shandhar, but definitely will be taking my friends and family to experience the new location and try some new dishes!
