We drove over an hour from Langley to meet friends who had recommended this place to us. We checked the opening times before we left and we're told they closed at 3.00 pm. We entered the restaurant at 2.25 pm only to be told that the kitchen didn't want to do any more customers. I have been a chef for over 45 years and it is really irritating when customers come in a few minutes before closing time and you have an empty restaurant. However this place was quite busy and there were 35 mins before closing time and having driven for over an hour we were really disappointed. Every time you turn on the news there is a story about restaurants that are having to close down. If this is their attitude to paying customers who were potentially going to spend at least $150 possibly more; then I have no sympathy.

First time visitors and we truly enjoyed ourselves. Lots of options and a unique menu. We'll go back again for sure. You must try to arrive early as its obviously a town favorite and it fills up fast.

It’s a very ordinary restaurant — I can’t say I loved the food, but it wasn’t bad either. Just a simple, standard breakfast. The service was average, but the servers were quite slow. The waiter gave us the menu and then disappeared; he only came back to take our order after 15–20 minutes.
After we finished eating, no one came to bring the bill. Even though there was a call button on the table, no one responded to it even after pressing it twice. We had to call out to a server to get their attention. The same thing happened when we needed a take-out box — we had to call someone again.
It would’ve been much better if the staff were more attentive, noticed our empty plates, and at least asked if we wanted a box or maybe dessert. I’m not sure if I would come back here again, but it’s definitely a place that needs improvement.

We enjoyed a lovely meal at Uptown Grill after a busy day of shopping and parade watching at District 1818. We were very impressed with the service and kindness of the owner/server. We commented on how much we loved her homemade salad dressing. We asked if we could buy some to take home but she was already sold out. When we went to pay our bill, the owner had packaged up some free samples of the salad dressing to take home with us! What a delightful surprise! We will definitely come back and enjoy another meal the next time we venture out to Chilliwack! 😍

We got the combo 2 and there was soooo much food, enough to share with our toddler. All of it was delicious and for a fantastic price.
