Yale Sushi Reviews
Worst sushi restaurant in Chilliwack. The waitress completely ignored us for almost 20 minutes. No drinks while we waited. Then came back to take our order with no apology or anything (like this is normal?) then came back with our drinks and food at the exact same time. Food was terrible after all that wait.
Terrible experience!
Platters are overpriced but what isn’t these days..however I don’t recommend yale sushi due to the presentation of the food on the platters. It was embarrassing. And when you spend that kind of money for the quality it would’ve been nice to have been proud to put them out. Wishing I had left time to re-plate them 🫣
Our food was terrible! People who rate this place highly have no idea what good Japanese food tastes like!
Sadly the service was also bad. Our waitress ignored us while she took phone orders etc. I wish in retrospect we left after sitting there for so long.

Yale Sushi is a highly recommended sushi restaurant known for its friendly service and delicious food. The staff is super friendly and greets customers with smiling faces, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The restaurant is also praised for its cleanliness and the high-quality ingredients used in the dishes.
The menu offers a variety of sushi options, including a fresh-tasting tuna, avocado, and cucumber roll, as well as a spicy tuna roll with the perfect texture. Customers have also enjoyed the Teriyaki, which is considered the best they've had at a sushi place. The food portions are generous, and the presentation is incredible. Many customers have praised the sashimi for its good quality and the specialty rolls drizzled in spectacular sauce. The prawn tempura is cooked to perfection, with succulent and tender prawns, and Toro nigiri is described as rich and filling. The restaurant also offers vegetarian options and features friendly staff and small treats like Milka flavored candies at the end of the meal.
While the ambiance can be a bit too quiet, making it difficult to have a conversation, the overall dining experience remains highly enjoyable. The restaurant is accessible with a ramp near the handicap parking stall. Customers are eager to return to Yale Sushi for another delicious meal.
