I order a bbq eel roll every time I picked it up it fall a part, I also ordered chop scallop nigria and the loaded mayonnaise on the top no eggs and it didn't taste like scallop it was shaped all diff with diff cuts and I found no round shape the rice tasted new like it was still warm there was no love there at all eat there before had the same order before

The food at Yale Sushi in Chilliwack rivals the top sushi restaurants in Vancouver, where I lived and enjoyed sushi for 30 years.
I was blown away by the portion sizes, the quality and the freshness, especially the salmon sashimi. And the staff are friendly and very attentive, always checking in to make sure everything’s ok and if anyone would like more tea, without being intrusive at all.
And as you can see from photos, the restaurant is open, airy, clean and welcoming.

This is my third time ordering from Yale Sushi, and honestly, I’m disappointed. I got the Spicy Chicken Teriyaki, and for the price, it’s just not worth it. There was barely any rice in the dish, and the portion overall felt really small. I don’t think I’ll be ordering again

I was here near the end of the day and the energy from staff was very overwhelming. You felt like it was the end of the day and they wanted everyone out. I get it, just very overwhelming. They turned someone away (fine) but took over 5 minutes to come to the agreement that they weren't going to serve him cuz of time of day.

The waitress was very friendly. Food was served fast after ordering. We had the prawn tempura, which was cooked to perfection. The prawn was succulent and tender. Toro nigiri was so rich and filling. We also had a couple of specialty rolls, which were drizzled in a spectacular sauce. I'd give 6 stars if you could!
