What a surprise coming back 30 years later and seeing how far this place has come. Great new chef, amazing prime rib last night, vegetables, Yorkshire puddings all was amazing. This will be my go to place now.

Great food, good atmosphere. Pub style eating, but WAY better food. Awesome place to eat dinner while watching a hockey game!

Went there for the first time ever today. We decided to try breakfast (Sunday is the only day they open for breakfast in the winter). Not too busy, lots of space. Giant TV screen playing a hockey game. I had an omelet and my wife had the day special benny. Coffee and tea. So the food was absolutely perfect. The square hashbrowns pieces looked nothing special but both of us remarked at how they were at the same time both crunchy yet soft and light. So good! The server came and asked if I would like hollandaise sauce (free) on my omelet. I had not done that before but heck, why not? It was awesome! I cannot tell you how many times our friendly server came over to make sure everything was going well but it was 2x more than I would ever have expected and we were both appreciative of the service and care. And the coffee was excellent and nice and strong and fresh. All big hits in my book. Yeah, we'll be back.

Amazing! What a sweet, tucked away eclectic place! Great big quality portions... organic local meats, friendly service! Pool table, vintage Pac-Man & arcade games tucked in the corners... real wood fireplace! Great outdoor places to sit, tucked at the base of the Wells Grey Provincial Park! ... my 7 yr old said, 5 stars from me (even his chicken fingers tasted like "real food!) !! We all agreed!

We were there in July 2023 and the food was amazing! The chef customized our order for our food sensitive child with no question. The lady who took my order was kind, cheerful, patient and helpful. We will definitely be back.

Kudos to the welcoming staff and management of this establishment, well worth a visit. Diverse menu offerings. I had the breakfast burger and it was amazing. I enjoyed a flight of the Riot Brewery beer, and the Working Class Hero Dark Mild was phenomenal!

This restaurant is located inside the Clearwater Campground. The atmosphere of the room is quite austere. The service is considerate after a somewhat cold first approach. We were disappointed when ordering because our first 3 choices on the menu were not available... We therefore fell back on other dishes which were very correct and plentiful. However, the home-made fries lacked crispiness. The prices are very correct.

I do not recommend eating here. The fries are the worst I’ve ever had. I think they were old. No flavour on potato skins and chicken strips. The waitress gave my 1 year old his drink with no lid and he dumped it on himself. Usually the waitress would give it to me to give to him but didn’t. I had to ask her to get something to clean it up but I landed up going to the car and getting wipes to clean him up. There is a two drink minimum and the cups are small for kids and didn’t offer a free drink for the one spilled. The only thing I did like is we didn’t have pay for me and other child to play pool. I should’ve gone to subway.

We ate there on Friday July 7,2023. My husband and I had the fish and chip special which was very good. Not a bit greasy and very large piece of cod. Would highly recommend this restaurant. It is very casual but the waitress was friendly. It was a little slow getting our food but worth the wait.
