Hop "N" Hog Tap & Smokehouse

This was by far the best bbq food we had on our trip to Canada. The brisket was extremely tender, the pulled chicken was excellent and I can continue about everything like this. Next time the food they also have a good selection of beers. I would definitely recommend going to the Hop “N” Hog. Be mindful that it’s first come first serve and there’s quite the wait sometimes.

Open your container if you’re picking up food to make sure that everything that you think is supposed to be in there is actually in there

Baked beans were missing
I requested lean brisket and it wasn’t very lean, but it was very tasty
Potato salad didn’t have much flavor, didn’t need salt, but could’ve used a a little herb flavoring
Mac & cheese was completely tasteless
BBQ sauce good but very small portion and if you ask for an extra, it’s an extra charge

Popped in here while staying nearby as part of a big Canadian road trip. Food was delicious, service was super quick and friendly.

Had the beef brisket and pork ribs, they were great! We came in before 6pm and were promptly seated, it got really busy when we left around 7. The waitress was really good about my food allergies, and was prompt with double checking ingredients when I wasn’t too sure about something.

This place has excellent BBQ! Good selection of menu options, including some vegetarian ones. Portions are perfectly sized - not over the top, but enough for a hungry person. The sides that come with the mains are pretty good. If I had to make just one complaint it would be that the Caesar salad size was relatively unimpressive and flavourless - add some garlic and lemon to it! But no big deal. The meat is excellent.

Probably want to make a reservation. We waited around 30 min on a Saturday around 6pm.

Great quality barbecue food, huge portions and good selection of beers. The flight of ten different beers is a great way to try all the beers on offer! The mixed combo is three chicken thighs and two slabs of beef. Both meats were delicious as were the sides. Nacho starter also very tasty. Service was very prompt. Plenty of seating both inside and outside.

The best and most popular stop for Barbecue lovers! Arrived just after 5pm opening and was quickly seated at the covered outdoor patio. There were only a handful of seats still empty, but filled to capacity shortly! Server was prompt and friendly to take drink and food orders. The Yellow Dog IPA was great. The pulled pork mac & cheese and smoked brisket were plated on a large tray with slaw, beans, cornbread and a choice of potato or Caesar salad. Had so much food we had enough to take out. Could not ask for a better barbecue. Thanks CHATGPT for recommending this stop as we were coming hungry into Clearwater. Overall a friendly local vibe and delicious food at a very fair value.

Sensational. Went two days in a row and waited 30 minutes each (friday, saturday), but would wait a hour. Great place and perfect bbq.
