Charged me $53 for a 6oz steak and pad spicy salad. The steak was cold when got it tasted like it was frozen years ago. The pad thai salad was suppose to be spicy but it was sweet as hell. U could smell curry in it. Had some uncooked noodle on it with little to no chicken. Its a scam. Do not go this restaurant or change the name to a south asian restaurant so people can expect what kind of food to get. Never going back

Stayed at the Inn for 3 nights to explore Wells Gray Provincial Park, location excellent, rooms spacious, beds very comfortable, excellent value for money. Friendly staff in bar and food very good.

The restaurant is located inside the Wells Gray Inn. It is the old Wells Grey restaurant. There is no outside signage to mark it. Has new owners, food is much better than it was. Ruben sandwich is made with pastrami rather than Montreal smoked meat but still tasted good. The ceasar salad dressing is quite sweet doesn't really taste like ceasar. More like a mayo type dressing.Very little in the way of gluten free options. Burgers have wheat mixed in so do the fries. No gluten free pizza, pasta or buns for samdwiches.Waitress was very good.

We had booked a night’s stopover on our itinerary but added a second night at the last minute due to varying our plans because of the extensive wildfires and smoke in BC. This explains the varying reviews, we think. - Our first night was in the front part of the building, though looking into the courtyard and garden and was quiet. But we think this was the older part - rather dated style etc, but everything clean and comfortable. The second night was a larger room opposite in the new wing, and very attractive and more up to date. We had a little patio onto the courtyard garden. Both rooms had very comfortable large beds, As an extra free attraction, we saw a bear wandering around the car park one evening. We ate in the restaurant/ Tipsy Bear both evenings, and were impressed by the food and service. The waitress the first evening,Sandy, was particularly on top of her role.

Ate in the restaurant attached to our lodgings in Wells Gray Inn in Clearwater BC. Varied venue. Food was good although could have done with a better burger bun. Large portions. Waitress was run off her feet as place was busy but decent service.

Only one server wiring in a full dining room with a steady line of guest waiting. The server was fantastic with every one. She did not get upset or flustered at all. She had a great manner with all of the guests.

Stayed for two nights at Wells Gray Inn. This restaurant is attached to the hotel. Very popular among the locals and well patronized. Good menu selection breakfast, lunch and dinner. Food from the kitchen also serves the attached Pub. So prices are reasonable in light of the servings which are more than adequate. Food overall is good. We had breakfast for 12 plus other patrons on Sunday morning and one server handled it all in an excellent manner. Timely orders, coffee on the table, food arrived hot on the table. My kudos to the great service. I recommend this restaurant in Clearwater.

Went here last night to treat friends to their anniversary dinner.Wife ordered chicken strips and got fish!I ordered steak done medium. The steak was raw and so tough even a serrated knife would not cut it! Worst piece of meat I have ever had!Can not recommend this place ever. Terrible

My wife and I were part of the Titan Tours coach party that partook of the SSSS luncheon on 21st May, prepared at your Clearwater site. The Corn Chowder, sandwiches and desserts were all delicious and we'd LOVE to get the Chowder recipe. Before the lunch, our Titan tour guide told us that as these premises were under new (previously untried) management, she could not comment on the quality of the fare. The conclusion drawn after the lunch was that the new management had made a good job of catering for 42 visitors and that she would confidently recommend the optional SSSS meal to future tour parties.
