Great Service as soon as we walked in we were acknowledged and seated even though it was fairly busy. Debby was very personable and took the the time to chat and ask us questions. The food was outstanding and done to perfection! We will definitely be coming back here when we go to Wells Gray.
Thanks for the great experience!

I hate to write a negative review; however, after a long day out, I stopped into the Hungry Hiker Café and ordered the
two-piece cod, which was very chewy, rubbery, and unseasoned. The chicken sandwich was super tiny. The bun and fries were good, and the staff were friendly.
However, it's not worth $40.
I'm looking forward to seeing this improved, and I would love to come back one day.

We tried few options on menu like omlete and dish with bacon and another one with roast beef. It was generally delicious. I did not like the hash brown but other items were good. The tea and coffee was very cold and we complained and it came more or less same. I appreciate the effort from the waiters but they definitely need more servers and chef. I think it can be improved

Stopped into this cute cafe on our way to Alberta. The young server was really kind and on the ball with our requests. Had the eggs Benny that was cooked perfectly and had great flavour. We were able to hit the road again within a reasonable amount of time. Our server had great conversation as he noticed the trailer we were hauling matched his passion for cars so it was a nice chance to chat and see his face light up with joy while also having a great food experience there.

Good food, plenty of homemade ingredients and desserts, but portions are small, especially if you're hungry like a hiker!

Side salads were a good mix of fresh veggies, and the sandwiches were good. Especially enjoyed the homemade breads used. Portions were smaller than expected though, both the sandwiches and the sides of fries.

Staff were very friendly and welcoming, but service was a bit slow. One of the key ingredients of my sandwich was missing, and everyone else was done their meals by the time the dressing for my sandwich was brought out.

Lovely large shaded patio, a nice way to enjoy the fresh air. Some quiet music on the patio would help relieve some of the awkwardness between tables when there are only a couple tables seated outside.

Would go again and would recommend to others, just don't expect to leave especially full.
