we went to Fire & Oak last night (June 14th) for my 33rd birthday. My partner and I both ordered the special-steak, garlic mashed potatoes and vegetables. It took over an hour for our food. our server kept apologizing about the wait and ensuring our food would be out soon. We were then informed they had run out of potatoes and we had to switch our orders to French fries. Thinking that shouldn't take too long, we were wrong it amd was another half hour before our food arrived....read full review

Food was good tastey, temperature and presentation was great. The atmospthere is beautiful. However, what tainted my experience is the rude comment made by our server when I was confused about the more than half of menu they presented are not availble for weekend and breakfast. I had a hard time hearing him explain it, I was told " Do you not understand english?". I did not appreciate discriminatory comments like that. Other than that it's a good place.
