Had the Braised Beef gnocchi and it was delicious. Prices ranged from about $18-$25 for most items on the menu and they also have a kids menu for $10 for 5 items.Pretty quiet place as there weren’t very many guests, but they had the basketball game projected up on the wall.

A sign at the desk read “back in 5 minutes”. So I went back to my car to wait. Went back inside and there was still nobody there. How does one get a room here? Nevermind, I walked out for the last time and drove down the road and stayed at the Prestige instead. I’m glad there was nobody at the Heritage to serve me because I found a much better hotel.
We travel on a motorcycle and by the end of the day we're exhausted, hot and cranky. The sign out front said pool and hot tub so we stopped. It was half the price of the Best Western down the street so we were skeptical. The guy at the front desk was super friendly and helpful. The room and bath were VERY CLEAN. The hot tub was hot but the jets could use some TLC. The bed is a beautyrest mattress and felt better than home. Breakfast was delicious... and I don't usually participate in breakfast.....BUT they had fancy scrambled eggs, tator tots, sausage, and pancakes. There was cold cereal, hard boiled eggs and yogurt too. They certainly set the bar high for wherever we end up tonight!!
Stayed here on July 15h 2022. The person at the counter was very rude and didn’t appear to care about the customer. There was a constant stream of people in the parking lot holding signs asking for money and I’m pretty sure there was a guy in a big white van selling good from the back of the van. The amenities were ok but everything else, including the service, was very disappointing. Don’t recommend.
On a bus tour from Saskatchewan to Seattle. 2 buses with 80+ people. The staff provided over the top service for our group. All the staff from owners, managers, housekeeping and waitresses were there to make sure our every need was met. A lot of larger hotels could take a page from their book on how to treat their guests. We would fully recommend this hotel over all others in the area.
Older hotel. Very clean. The staff and owners bent over backwards for us. There wasn’t an elevator, but the staff helped with luggage. We will definitely stay there again, because pets are welcome too.
Our bus tour passed thru Cranbrook on our way to & from Seattle for the Blue Jays ball games. This may not be the newest hotel on the block but the management & staff were fantastic getting bombarded with 2 buses. They flew around collecting our bags & had them to our Rooms pretty much by the time we had our room keys. They had coffee & water 24/7 in the lobby which was nice. Breakfasts were hot & delish ? The owners came in as well & made sure things were good for us all. the dining staff were working their tails off to make sure we were all fed. Above & beyond service & I’ve never had hotel staff come out & shake your hand & Thk you for coming.
Checked into this hotel without a reservation. The smell is old. We didn’t have a shower curtain so I had to go ask at the desk. Her reply was, “you’re lucky I have one here in the back room”. REALLY? The bed was horrible. Sat on the edge and rolled back toward the centre. The lighting in the bathroom is horrible. Fine for brushing your teeth but if you wear makeup it’s impossible to do that in the bathroom. The chair at the small table in the room was so filthy, I wouldn’t even sit on it. The lounge was closed - staff shortage. There is a Legion attached to the building, but it was also closed. Breakfast was provided from a select menu. I chose an omelette, which came with raw onions, cheese (almost non existent) and sparse ham. When I asked for a glass of milk, they didn’t have any. We will never waste money at this location again.

I stayed at the Heritage Inn June 18 and 19, 2022. The hotel was adequate and clean. Good value for the price I paid. But I want to thank the older lady who was working when I checked in on Saturday evening. THANK You for your help. I had messed up in making my reservation and she went the “extra mile” to try and remedy the problem for me. Thank you for you extra effort in customer service! ( I hope your manager reads this and appreciates the effort you put into your work).
Terrible service, quoted one price 3 x and then was charged double the price after speaking to the front desk I was told that there was no proof of the quote. Parking lot wasn't plowed, we got stuck 4 times, no room service, room was dirty to begin with, no supervisor they had quit the previous week. The staff and stay ruined an already saddened Christmas. BEWARE
This hotel is tired, not well maintained. Our door SLAMMED shut every time no maintenance staff available on wkends. Water coming out of bathtub faucet was black, it did clear but certainly wouldn't drink it. We visited on a wkend when place was almost empty. Restaurant was tasty for lunch, friendly waiter, reasonable cost. Pool and whirlpool are good, reasonably clean although men's shower didn't work. Weight room well appointed. I'm sure you could find something newer and better maintained for similar $$ in Cranbrook.
We arrived after 19:00 as drop-ins and were given a room. Shockingly, the room had not been prepared, with diarrhea splashes in the toilet being a real turnoff. "Oh, the computer says it is clean". With apologies, we were given another room, an upgrade we were told. Well, it was as basic as can be: a very noisy air conditioner, there were just a few TV channels available, with a distorted picture to boot, the coffee maker was missing the glass pot, there was no cream, not even that dried stuff. The room and bathroom were clean but I was underwhelmed by the cheap materials used in the bathroom, not even a hint of luxury in the cabinetry. The included "breakfast buffet" was a choice of 4 from chafing dishes, but no toast, no coffee, no juices, no bacon. everything else had to be ordered from the waitress. That lone waitress was running ragged and finally, a man came to help out. We noticed several parties looking annoyed for having to wait so long for even the coffee to come. In our many hotel stays over the years we have never seen a buffet without juices or coffee. We didn't bother to order the full breakfast even though we had paid for it, things were just taking too long. My personal facit: for the price we paid $140 + + += $171 one can do much better, just book ahead or find a hotel early enough or one away from the main road. I couldn't shake the impression that everything was done to maximize profit: no one checks the rooms, just one waitress for the morning breakfast and a disaster of a breakfast buffet. Needless to say: not recommended
WE stayed here during a Fire evacuation from our property. The front Desk agent, named Shaun was extremely kind and very helpful to accommodate us , even after delays on our part in arriving. Our check in, as well as checking out was quick and easy. The property is clean, and quiet, and the rooms are spacious as well as very comfortable. Nice home cooking in the restaurant, also with good service . Totally recommend this hotel to any one.......... Ralph Tweten
