Smitty's Family Restaurant & Lounge

We stopped in at this Smitty’s on our drive to Idaho from Calgary; the service and food were so good that we decided to stop in again on our drive back to Calgary! We tried the hot wings, nachos, the burger and the quesadilla. Everything was delicious, but the appetizers were definitely our favourites. The nachos had a great amount of toppings and all of them tasted fresh, and the chicken wings were a great size and cooked perfectly. They also had gluten free options and the server was well versed about dietary restrictions, which was an unexpected surprise as that’s not always the case on road trip stops.

In addition to the food, the service was 10/10. Our server Love was very kind and efficient, and the manager Vik stopped by to check in on how we were liking everything. This will definitely be our go to stop whenever we drive through Cranbrook.

Best place in town the staff is always friendly and service is quick. They know their customers and what they like.

Food and staff were good, *water tasted like dirt, despite the maple syrup display at the front of the restaurant the syrup was artificial poured into an old real maple syrup container that gave it a bit of a metallic taste

*Apparently tap water just tastes like that in Cranbrook

Good value for money and great service breakfast was dynamite other than the pancakes which were huge but only reasonably good. Overall would highly recommend it and just go with the hash browns instead of the pancakes.

I can’t say enough about the service and manner in which we were greeted. Great looking meals at other tables as well. Could not even come close to finishing the meal as it was massive. Coffee was good as well.

28 dollars for burger and the smallest portion of fries ive ever seen .
Girl didn't even show me the summer menu until insaw it amd she got irritated
No thanks , not this place ever again
I've had better burger with fries for 18 dollars
And for 8 dollars in states

No I was at smittys and have the bank transaction
Why respond if that's your idea customer service
Your response speaks volumes and is why I had a bad meal amd service

Clearly you guys suck at customer service. Seriously get out of the restraint business

The food wasn't spectacular, but wasn't bad either.
The young guy who served us was effecient and courteous.
There is almost no street appeal and the interior is old and dated. With a few upgrades it could be decent. It is easy to miss from the street.

The cranbrook smittys is phenomenal, for a multitude of reasons. The staff and owners are always friendly, attentive, and caring. The service is always speedy and the food is delicious. We take our kids on a regular basis and they always leave happy. The prices are super affordable, and the food taste great.

Great restaurant and food, friendly service. Would certainly eat here again.

My friend and I had the Breakfast buffet, if you are really hungry then this a great deal for 20$. The food tasted good but not necessarily excellent.
