Worth it. I had a couple options for this trip and no regrets here ☺️

We stayed for 3 nights, the hotel lobby has a cute heritage charm to it while the room I stayed in was fully renovated with a king size bed, large tv and full sized fridge. Right beside great restaurants (Fenwick & Baker and Sakura in the same block) and walking distance to many other amenities.

Rooms: The room was very clean and a nice basic room for a good value. Newly remodeled.Walkability: Right downtown. Several restaurants in walking distance.

Great stay, good location and friendly staff. I found the bedding was smelly of perfumed detergent, but that was the only drawback.

I've been staying at this hotel for weekends for the past several months, and I just love it. Each room is unique, the staff is super friendly (front desk to housekeepers).I always look forward to a stay at the baker!

A nice hotel in downtown Cranbrook. The building itself is a beautiful heritage building. Right next to decent restaurants, shops and everything you need. Parking can be limited if it's busy.Note: there is no elevator and the rooms are not accessible - climbing in and out of the shower was a bit of an adventure! This isn't a problem for me but if you have any mobility issues I would suggest staying elsewhere. The room was pretty big and I liked the wood floors a lot. The bed was comfortable. Rooms were updated but not modern. Water was hot and good pressure. It was also clean although the bathroom was starting to show its age.Staff were exceptional over email and text. I didn't see anyone at the desk except when I checked in and when I checked out. They were very friendly and check in/out was seamless. The only other downside is the noise. Even after midnight, there was noise from the bar below (people shouting) and some vehicle noise in the morning (I'm guessing early morning deliveries). Also had lots of noise in the hotel in the morning (guests leaving early?). I went straight back to sleep but you might want earplugs if you're a light sleeper.

Amazing little place. Parking is a bit of a pain as I watched non hotel guests park in the designated stalls.

Nice sheets, and a comfortable bed! Great service and right downtown, would definitely stay again.

Room clean and tidy but air conditioner not working resulted in a terrible night’s sleep on a hot day. Management not overly interested when brought to their attention. Meals downstairs were excellent as was the service. Recommend considering other hotels if you want an air conditioned room!!

Rooms: Lots of room to move around. Free parking. Quiet, but with all amenities near by. Ian and his staff helped us us with a challenge we had beautifully.
