Food was excellent teriyaki chicken rice dish and ginger beef on rice noodles

Baker 89 is my favourite breakfast spot in town! It’s amazing and affordable. They’ve added a dinner menu, I’ve been once and definitely need to go back to try more from their menu! So many good options I want to try :) ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

5 Stars! Delicious new dinner restaurant. The Baker 89, previously serving breakfast only, is now open in the evenings for dinner. Chef Manav is not a cook, he is a chef. He serves a variety of different food, all outstanding. The Baker 89, located just off Baker St, is my new favourite restaurant in Cranbrook. Highly recommend!

We decided to try their dinner menu as their breakfast and lunch is fantastic. I had the Souvlaki and Marty had the Chicken Thai bowl. The food was absolutely amazing. Recommend this restaurant 100%

I grew up going to The Cottage with my mom for lunch. I have very fond memories of that restaurant, and when I walked in, The Baker 89 had kept that aesthetic, and nostalgic vibe the cottage once had.

The chef makes an impressive breakfast! I had the crab cake benny, and it was great! REAL crab meat, and house made hollandaise, chunky hash browns that were crispy, not oily and cooked perfectly what more could you want? It was coincidentally arranged on the plate to look like a face so that's how I had to take the picture! The other guys I was with thoroughly enjoyed their breakfasts too. You even get a free cup of house made soup with every order! It was beef veg and it was fresh, very flavorful, and I would definitely have that again.

Our server was pleasant, and attentive, and professional. Prices are more than fair for the quality of food. I will be sure to come back next time I'm in town from Calgary.

The fresh berry salmon salad is my new fav!!! I love the combination of berries with the greens and salmon ?.

Well the other reviews are accurate- we had an amazing brunch today and exceptional service!! I had the Philly cheese steak breakfast bowl with choice of eggs on top- best breakfast bowl ever!! They even offer “complimentary soup” with your order (beef vegetable) and it was really tasty too!!
