A busy night, Santa Claus Parade, so many people! MARLO was amazing! She served our group of Rotary Volunteers with excellence, it was a crazy busy night, but she was focused on her customer service and delivered everything with excellence! Thank you Marlo! Tonight was a lot! You were so accommodating to our group! And you had a team of support who also helped serve our group! 5+ stars to Marlo and the Heidout Team!!!

Last time we visited Cranbrook, we drove by and I told my husband we needed to visit the next time we were in the town. Rolled in tonight and headed over. We were seated quickly and our drink order was taken. Our food was delicious! The chestnut honey cake was amazing. Luke, our server, was great! We will definitely be back

Exceptionally good meal. Nice vegetarian options. Healthy choices. Beautifully presented - see photos. Desserts chocolate brownie was one of the best I have ever had. Live music when I visited. Great atmosphere and friendly service.

Was coming thru to the airport and googled 'best pubs in Cranbrook' and this popped up. Our server was amazing and the speed of service was on point. Food was good value but we did notice that our Beef Melt topped with onion rings (sounds amazing right) had a slightly fishy taste to it. Lovely patio and seems to attract all kinds of people. Would definitely recommend.

A visit to The Heid Out Restaurant and Brewhouse in Cranbrook was truly a memorable experience. The vegan dinner exceeded expectations with creative, flavorful dishes like their vegan quesadillas and Caesar salad — a rare find that delighted our taste buds. The craft beer selection was impressive, and what really made the evening special was the bartender’s friendly and knowledgeable recommendations, helping us discover new favorite brews to perfectly pair with our meal. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would wholeheartedly recommend The Heid Out to anyone looking for a welcoming spot with great vegan food and outstanding craft beer.

I had a lovely experience Thursday night at the Heid Out. The staff were exceptionally attentive, some of the most attentive I have seen. I had the schnitzel and a refreshing N/A Pilsner, a Tirolean classic, and it was fantastic. The food brought me back to my time living in Europe; very authentic and flavourful. Well done team, I look forward to coming back for dinner again soon :)

First time in the area, looked at different places to stop and eat and decided on the Heid Out.
My group and I were travelling with a pup and needed a place that was okay with dogs. The outdoor patio accommodates dogs! Our server was super friendly and helpful, I wish I would've gotten his name for recognition. One fantastic idea they've implemented is that they have a separate vegan only menu (and I believe they have one for gluten free as well). We tried the veggie burger and buddha bowls, both dishes were delicious. Also, their drip coffee was quite delicious and hit the spot! Thank you for making the extra effort, it was a pleasant experience!

We had a fantastic experience working with Rusty and his team for our wedding reception! Communication was easy and clear from the start, and they encouraged and welcomed feedback and ideas. Rusty took the time to understand our vision and worked with us to personalize the menu to fit guest's dietary needs without sacrificing taste and flavour. We highly recommend Rusty/The Heid Out for anyone looking for a flexible, collaborative, and professional catering team.

My husband and I were transiting from Vancouver to Calgary and stopped for dinner at this restaurant. The food was amazing and our waitress, Kendra, was phenomenal. Highly recommend this place.
