Food was delicious, and so was their lemonade! We were a bit confused on if we were going to get served our food, or if we had to pick it up when it was ready. We did get it brought to us, and the service was great! We ate there, and the atmosphere was fun. Our kids also enjoyed their dinners!! A fun night out with the family! We found it hard to see their business sign! If your like us and haven't been out to Cumberland for awhile look for the 'old library' sign on the main drag!Kid-friendliness: Has a good kids menu.Parking: Parking is on the streets, and we found it hard to see their business sign as you drive by.
Used to be my favourite taco place in the comox valley. I’m not sure what’s changed, but the food quality isn’t the same and the prices have gone up. My taco was dry with absolutely no sauce on it, and I paid 7$ for stale, hard, tortilla chips and 14$ for 2 bad tasting mini tacos. It’s just not worth the money for me anymore but it used to be when the food was actually high quality and delicious.
Tiny little place and the food is excellent. We usually order take out. Very fast service!
Anytime we're in Cumberland, we gotta stop at Biblio Taco. If we're in town for a week, you bet we'll be at Biblio Taco every day that they're open. Biblio Taco, we can't quit you! We love the burritos, salads and tacos. My favorite protein is the roasted vegetable, second fave is the hongo veg. For giggles, we tried a few of their meat proteins in the tacos and that was awesome. The margarita isn't very strong, but tastes good. If you looooove melted cheese and lots of it, go for the quesadilla. There's like 2 pounds of ooey gooey cheese in that! Love the plentiful outdoor dining. We usually sit out front, but there's outdoor dining in the back as well. The week we were there, they just received their shipments of shirts and tanks, $25 each. Should have gotten the t-shirt because the tank isn't very good quality and hangs a bit off.
Seriously the best tacos on the island! Hard to find a roasted veggie combo and you can do half and half. Loved their burritos too! Their in house hot sauces are addictive, mango habenero is spicy yet they perfected the delicate mouth burn.. the chiplote and green one tastes delcious too. Great seats throughout. Loved the backyard patio the best! Super clean, great staff and fabulous selection of drinks. Good for the whole family!
Wow. Frankly, best taco of my life. I had the bibliotaco carnitas and was absolutely floored. Whatever was in it was fantastic but also loved that they fry cheese on the outside of the tortilla adding a bit of crunch and more flavor. Beard guy serving was super cool. Strawberry margarita was delightful.
There are few opportunities for Mexican food in the Comox Valley. Biblio Taco provides excellent Mexican street food - tacos, burritos, quesadillas. The portions are huge, the flavorings tasty. The restaurant can be very busy at times, but the table turnover is fairly quick, and there's a decent amount of seating within the restaurant and on both patios (front and back). Our lunch entrees were all in the $12-14 range each, the portion sizes were generous.
Stopped by this gem today and had a terrific late lunch on the back patio. The salad we ordered was huge! It was packed with flavour, very colourful and absolutely delicious. So order the salad with Ahi Tuna. The other menu items looked substantial and yummy.
Delicious food but the customer service was the best. Appreciated their support in getting to the ferry in time and the understanding and smiles.
Biblio Taco offers delicious Mexican food with a fun vibe!My personal fave is the roasted vegetable burrito with all the homemade hot sauces. Their margaritas are fantastic and if you're a beer drinker, they offer a big selection of beer on tap and by the bottle. If Mexican is your jam, Biblio is the place for you!
Friendly, efficient, clean and great food. A simple concept with fresh ingredients and good flavours we really enjoyed it. A great place for lunch.
Great taco place on the island! Better than Tacofino in my opinion. We happily drive from Nanaimo to Cumberland just for tacos and a nice local beer! My only “complaint” is that I would prefer the tacos come with two corn tortillas as the tacos come nice and heavy and tend to tear through the tortilla of they sit too long in the juices.
Awesome food, beer, and service. Stop by every time I'm driving through.
Biblio is the best, the quality and portions are amazing. I get burritos to go for lunch and take out at least once a week for the family. Biblio is a staple in our house hold.Must try if you’ve never beenSimply the best
The food is tasty, and I didn't find it overly spicy if that's not your jam your in luck, but if you want it spicier hot sauce will fix that. They have two vegetarian options as well a few different meat options. They offer Mexican made cola, beer, wine and cocktails. They offer eat in and take out as well you can order online via their website. Give it a try!
