The food was exceptional. I ordered the Monte Cristo; the bread was battered in egg and fried with a nice helping of egg on both sides facing the inside of the sandwich, thick slice of ham, tenderized grilled chicken and melted Swiss cheese- WOW! My husband ordered the breaded veal with fresh sliced carrot chunks and broccoli steamed to perfection. Both came with fresh cut, battened to perfection, crispy fries. I ordered a side of brown gravy for dipping. They were both freshly made. Service was great. Atmosphere was lacking, run down interior, wobbly chairs, needed some major TLC. Good food made up for it.

Don's Diner has a great view of the airport. Mr. Don was very friendly and made us feel very welcome, made us feel right at home. He came to make sure everything was going well and to see if we needed anything extra. The food was very good, they cater to people with allergies. The restaurant is beautiful, and the staff throughout the restaurant are warm and extremely helpful. We would definitely recommend Don's Diner in Dawson Creek.

Routinely fly through or drive through on my way to Alaska. Every time I make sure I am in Dawson creek for breakfast. Absolutely the best food on the highway. Typically eat breakfast and don't need food till Watson lake / white horse. Recommend to all my friends.
