we were there for milkshake and also had some seafood chowder. The milkshake was thick and delicious as usual. The chowder was a pleasant treat. just like homemade and even was loaded with crisp bacon along with all the other goodness. Amazing. And bonus was 2 homemade biscuits. Total treat. After driving by this place for 30+ years from since I was a kid, I finally took the time to go in and grab a meal from their menu. Let's just say I was not disappointed not one bit! I had their Smoking Flaming Burger with a poutine as a side and I'll for sure be going back to have it again. Also the Coconut Pie was delicious, get the whip cream!

I tried their Smokey and The Bandit hot dog and it did not disappoint. Juicy, crunchy skin and yes, it was Smokey too. It was dressed with grilled sauerkraut and I topped it off with some yellow mustard. It was what I remember Toronto Hotdogs to have tasted like from my youth. (Joyful tear) I opted out of their combo so I could try their Smokehouse burger. If a 5 guys burger and an old school Banquet burger from C&W (C&Dubs… For those who know), yeah so if they smashed (lol); this would be their love child. Double smashed patty with American cheese with two thick slices of Smokey, spiced bacon crowned by three rings of crispy golden fried onions and drizzled ever so delicately was some ketchup. All this goodness was sammiched between what tasted like a butter toasted Kaiser bun. It was a cool vibe and the service was good and the food was cooked to perfection. This place reminded me of the old school tv show Cheers. The customers coming in and out all were greeted mostly by name but all with a warm smile and pleasant attitude. If you enjoy 50’s retro diners with food to match, this is definitely on your to do list. They close kinda early if you ask me, but if my food was as good as theirs, I’d dictate those kind of hours too. Thanks for the experience!

Service was amazing! Our server was friendly and personable. Food was all homemade - right down to the buns/bread! Very big portions, delicious and very well priced. I will be stopping here again :)
Stuie's diner is an amazing experience for everyone, the staff is so friendly and welcoming. The food was amazing and the portions were large, I was absolutely stuffed so I didn't get the chance to try their home made pie but it's on my list for next time.
